Gold's Gym Columbia

This is a great neighborhood gym. It's not huge but the facility is new and clean. It has a small indoor pool, steam room, sauna, smoothie bar, walking track, and plenty of classes. There are many more amenities that I have yet to try. I like that they have a separate women's only workout area too. It's just a very comfortable atmosphere. The people that work at this branch are nice but not pushy at all. I signed up as a regular member after four days of my trial pass.

We like their location, convenience, and they are well equipped.

It's been working out just fine. It's convenient. The location is convenient. I would say that it is well equipped Very well maintained with a variety of programs and options for people who wanna work out.

They have a lot of equipment and it's clean. They have trainers there and a pool. They have spin classes and yoga. People are pleasant. I'm sure their trainers make their business by training the classes if you're a member and individual training is extra. I haven't done that but I haven't had any issues there. For me cleanliness is important and maintenance is important. There is a ton of parking and it's free. It is cheaper for me to buy 2 years cash than it is to do their monthly. The best deal I got was paying upfront for 2 years. The price is good. It is a lot less than some of the private gyms. I looked for 2 close to me and assumed it was less than the other one. You check in there and go to your equipment, you flash your badge so that they see that, and if you go down and have a question, they are more than happy to help you.

I love this Gym is spacious, staff and members are cordial and the classes that they offer help me to reach my goals.

We plan to quit as soon as our contract is up. Immediately after signing up we were pressured into personal training - the and quot;freeand quot; session was in fact just an upsell session, and when I tried to cancel personal training within the period given it was made extremely difficult. Additionally, my car was damaged during an attempted break-in in the parking lot, which is an issue so known to this location that it's been in the newspaper. Staff were not helpful during this incident either. The facilities and classes are nice but the gym is very unpleasant to deal with and I don't feel my vehicle is safe in the parking lot.

My overall experience was that the staff and doctor were very professional.

It's a fairly new facility and so the interior environment is very nice. The parking can be a challenge because it is very popular. For the most part, I had to change my personal trainer because the one I was working with there was nuts and didn't know what she was doing and I had to go to a chiropractor after I left her. But that was several years ago but the new guy I'm training with is much better.

Very much enjoy working out here, no waiting on equipment.

It went great. The teachers of the classes are always willing to talk and give advice.

It's a good gym. I pay $400 a year for two people.

My company has a membership with them and I co-pay a monthly fee. They give you a personal trainer to assist you for an hour a week. I chose them because of the discount and to keep myself healthy and in shape.They're very helpful and always have people there. They always have full supplies and never run out. Their availability is good because they open early in the morning but I think they close to early. They are all friendly and ready to help. It's a very good environment.

Overall, it's not a bad deal, but it so happens that the cardio theater is important to me and is poorly run, and the Gold's staff is generally unresponsive about my complaints. The rest of the gym is OK.
