Shoe Repair

The cap was replaced with rubber which I didn't know at the time.  I assumed a plastic heel cap would be put on the shoe to replace the previous one.  Needless to say, the rubber cap didn't last so I took the shoe back in December 2013 to get a plastic heel cap put on.  I was told that the plastic caps come from the manufacturer of the shoe and he couldn't get those so rubber was the next best option.  I pointed out how the rubber was no good because it had worn out in a year and asked if that meant I had to come back every year for a replacement and he said yes.  He also mentioned that the boot was my right foot and that was my "driving foot" so that's why the rubber wore out so quickly.  I realized there was no point in discussing this any longer and vowed to
never visit this shoe shop again.  The customer service was very poor to say the least.  I would not recommend this shoe shop to anyone.

When I got the shoe back glue had run down the heel and there was excess glue around the joint where the heel and sole had been reattached. Looked like a five year old had glued the shoe back together. I told him that was unacceptable and owner said give me a minuet. He brought the shoe back and the finish on the shoe where the glue had been scrapped off was totally destroyed. The shoe was ruined. He didn't even apologize for destroying the shoe. I will never go back nor will I ever recommend his shop.
