The damage to our house was due to the hailstorm that we had in Columbia. Idk if Crescent was super busy due to that or if they are always slow, but it took a long time to have all our repairs done. Sometimes it took a few phone calls to remind them to send the next crew over.
The work was done professionally and the quality of the work was good though.
Initial contract bid in March, 2015. Work did not begin until May, 2015. Work started off great, demo fast, floor
replacement and radiant heat good. Problems started with tile work. Bottom line, initial job was just shoddy. Complained several times, requested project. manager come to look at problem. Finally, got agreement that tile job was shoddy. Got a different crew to come tear out the back of the tile shower and replace. Final shower job is fine, much better than the start; floor tile grouting not great. They did make an effort to correct the problem, but it took way too long (May ? August) for what was a relatively simple job. Had the feeling they were over-extended; not sufficient oversight over initial job. Final product a big improvement but not exactly right; got tired of not having it done and signed off. Don?t think subs really knew how to lay tile. Would not recommend for tile jobs; may be great on other renovations.
The worst part (& it wasn't too bad) of the experience was trying to keep in touch once the project was completed (about minor adjustments). This was right after the hailstorm, and the company was very busy, so sometimes calls took a few days to be returned and acted on.
dining room ceiling. I again called and they promptly repaired the wood in the attic and also attempted to repair the stain in my living room which was not too successful as the color did not match. I did, however locate some paint that matched and repainted the area myself. The sales associate I worked with was wonderful. He was both professional and friendly and worked diligently to make sure everything worked out. The new architectural shingles look great!!
They do have to come back and replace some siding and a few minor things.
I would highly recommend them.
I GIVE MY HIGHEST RECCOMENDATION TO USE CRESENT CONSTRUCTION FOR ROOFING AND ALL OTHER CONSTRUCTION NEEDS. -- AND MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR TIMOTHY GRAVES!!!! We are now great friends and he will be doing some renovations in one of bathrooms, soon.
EXCELLENT A++ Job!!!!!
