Bob showed up between the estimated hours, got to work straight away and replaced the arms to the door of our lower wall unit oven in record time.  It had been broken since we moved in (we would turn on the oven and the door popped open and stayed open), but we were too cheap to get it fixed so we did without.  Turned out replacing the entire double ovens is $3,000 and this fix was less than $250.  What were we thinking?  Will continue to use Columbia Appliance without hesitation because they are on time , knowledgeable and decently priced.  Cannot ask for more than that.

There was a minor problem to begin with because they send a guy you really didn't know what he was doing and we got lucky because he was sick the day he was suppose to come out and try to fix it. They sent another guy and this guy knew what he was doing. He's basically able to diagnose the problem differently than the first guy. He was out here the next morning and had it repaired in about 15 minutes. They were responsive. The second guy they sent was top notch.

The service technician called me the morning that the service was to be performed to ask me a couple of questions before coming. I am an engineer and was able to check a few things in advance, so he told me a couple of other items to check before he came out and had to charge me. I checked these items and he even called me back with an additional item to check. Unfortunately I had to replace the refrigerator, but the tech saved me the price of a service call by helping me to troubleshoot the issue before coming out. Most companies would have just come out and charged me the $75 for the call to tell me that it needed to be replaced. I appreciate the help and would not hesitate called them again.

Went to provider's location first to consider purchasing a new ice-maker versus repairing old one. Representative was very knowledgeable with the machine on display, and after weighing the cost of repairing a 7 yr old one versus a new improved one, we decided to go new. The provider had the new one installed and working the very next day. Both the sales rep and service technician were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Would definitely use them again for new appliance purchase and service.

They were very good. The same person worked on both items. He had to order a part for one but it came in quickly. I found their price to be comparable to what everybody else was charging. The gentleman was very nice and informative. He answered my questions and sort of gave me a tutoring. He didn't mind me watching, I said I would like to watch so that I could learn and he said that was great and that he didn't mind. When he found out what was wrong, he showed and said what they do and why they do it that way. It all just made since the way that he was doing. They did fine. He was real good. I had other questions in general just in case I had to buy something new and he was very personable but also very knowledgeable. The only thing I hated is that they charged a service fee and it was to come out and look at two appliances. The service call was like $75 to come out and then labor on top of that so it was $75 just to come out and look and an additional $20 because they were going to be looking at a second appliance. They were fine. We are military family so this is the first house we have ever owned and so the first time we've ever had to use repairman because usually when we are living on a military installation, we call in a work order and they come and repair. We don't repair it because we are in a military quarters and they are responsible for it. Other than going online and comparing prices, they were comparable to other people that I looked up so they were right in there. His quality of work was very good.

I called Columbia Appliance after my Kenmore washer made a very loud metallic noise, had a burning smell that did not dissipate, and stopped spinning.
They were able to come at my convenience. The representative arrived promptly, opened the front of the washer and made a thorough inspection of its interior, testing various parts. He discovered that the motor was burned out. He recommended, based on the age of the washer (12 years) and the anticipated cost of repairs, that it would be in my best interest to purchase a new one.
There was also water standing in the base of the washer (not in the tub, but in the actual base) which explained a mysterious leak that had been appearing in my living room ceiling for several months.
I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and advice from the Columbia Appliance Repairman. The gentleman was clean, confident and obviously experienced enough that he gained my trust. I will definitely call them again.

This was the second experience with Columbia Appliance for repairs - the first was when my washing machine stopped working on the weekend - I called Columbia Appliance on Monday morning and they came by lunchtime. (I live in a rural area of Eastover) They had the part and fixed it immediately. They were very professional. Several weeks later my refrigerator stopped working - again I called early in the morning and they were here by lunch time. Again they had the part and repaired the refrigerator immediately. While working on the refrigerator they noticed the handle was loose and repaired that without being asked. Also while here I asked if they could look at my warming drawer oven - they very willingly did and also replaced that part immediately. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Diagnosed problem in about 15 minutes and replaced defective part in 30 minutes. Cleaned up mess and provided helpful tips on temp settings. Excellent service at reasonable price (appliance parts aren't cheap)
