 + -1 moreThe process went extremely well. Billy made it as smooth as could be. I initally contacted him via Russell Jeffcoat's web form, and was on the phone to him that same evening. He was always punctual to pick me up for viewings, and did so as frequently as I requested. Communication was excellent via cell phone and e-mail, usually answering directly and always returning messages promptly. He explained the process of a house search and the role of a buyer's agent in clear detail. Everything he did was exactly as he said it would be. He was invariably cheerful and pleasant, though occasionally a little coarse. He is quite knowledgeable about the area's real estate.
Description of Work: I drew on BIlly as a buyer's agent for a single-family house. He set up an automated system for alerts to home listings but also searched himself for other houses that met my criteria. Each time I selected houses to view, he picked me up from my home and drove me around to see them. When I selected a neighborhood, we identified several houses to choose from. After I settled on a specific house, he handled the contact with the seller's agent and wrote up the contract and addendum to my specifications. Billy arranged the termite inspection with a firm he recommended, and the home inspection with an inspector of my choice. He also worked directly with my lender and closing attorney to help things go smoothly. Ultimately, he saw me through the closing on the house, sitting with me at the attorney's office until the transaction was complete.
