Return home from vacation on Saturday Afternoon to no AC. Air necessities called me on Saturday afternoon to Schedule a tech for Monday morning. They had us back in air by lunch time Monday. Very reasonable price. Very pleased with responsiveness of this company.

Customer service rep very rude. Maintenance was not performed though I was charged for it. Company representative stated that HVAC unit doors are removed for coil cleaning yet these doors have been duct taped shut for the last several years - not possible to clean coils though they stated that they did do work!

"Customer called in said the unit was broken and did not want to pay our diagnostic charge. We did indeed perform the maintenance service on 5/1/19 on their 20 year plus systems. The systems were maintained well obviously or there would of been several mechanical issues through the years. The Customer refused to pay the diagnostic charge of $69 which is company policy after almost 5 months that we had been out for service. The office staff explained to them that if it were a maintenance issue with the systems it would have became a issue long before almost 5 months."

It went ok. I was told my another HVAC company that my unit was so old that it couldn’t be repaired. Air Necessities charged $256. To repair. I understand that the unit will need replacing if it breaks down again. It bought me some time.

Got five different bids from separate companies. The Air Necessities guy was the only one who did a technical review of what my home required. The others just assumed the previous system was adequate. So I chose Air Necessities. I had a difficult install due to space limitations. We had some fit and finish issues. The management was very responsive. I later had a failed component. Again Management went above and beyond to get it replaced under the 10 year parts warranty. Everyone I met was nice and professional. Cooling energy use is way down!

So Happy this company came out to my home. I'm new in town and this company was referred to me by many different people and I'm glad I called them. We had no Ac and the tech came out within the hour of us calling and determined we needed to have a maint and add a small amount of freon. Very very happy. Will DEFINITELY be referring to others.

The technician came out and to look at the unit because it was not cooling the house properly. His diagnosis was that the unit needed to be cleaned properly before he could make a diagnosis. The technician with "25 years of experiences" was more interested in making a sales pitch for the $170 sales maintenance than actually diagnosing a problem. The owner was contacted and asked why the freon was not checked. The owner said that the freon was checked. The owner got the technician on the phone and the technician admitted that the freon was not checked. The owner made excuses as to why it was not checked. I am not sure how this company is on Angie's List but the service I received today was horrible. I paid $69 for a sales pitch. I would not recommend this company.

The Diagnostic of $69 pays for an experienced technician to access what may or may not be wrong your heating and air conditioning system. Upon arrival our technician noticed that the air conditioning system had not been maintained in some time, he found the air filter very dirty, the outdoor condensing unit very dirty and full of leaves and other debris. The technician spoke to your husband and went over these concerns that to truly diagnose the system it needed to be cleaned, your husband did not agree that these were necessary steps in order to check refrigerant levels. In our professional opinion it is very important to have good air flow across the evaporator coil and the condensing coil before a true refrigerant pressure reading can be possible. The homeowner stated another company had just been only adding refrigerant which in our opinion is a waste of the homeowners money if the source of the leak is not found and repaired. The homeowner also stated that they were having two other companies besides us to give them another diagnostic and instructed our technician to just put everything back the way it was. We have never just added refrigerant to a system without making sure the refrigerant charge is tested without the system being thoroughly cleaned first. In short, the homeowner was charged only for the $69 diagnostic fee which was fully explained to the husband before we came out and we firmly stand behind our diagnosis. Thanks, Air Necessities"

Everything went fine but 5 years later some of the nylon strapping used to suspend the duck work is falling down. It was not installed correctly. some of the ducts are not sealed around the vents going into the house and have caused condensation and possible rot on the underside of the floor. The A/C system has worked fine, the installers were efficient and polite. Everything was cleaned up after the work was completed.

The company sent someone out as soon as they could, which was within an hour. The service guy worked hard to find out what the problem was and explained what needed to be done.

No Duct work was performed because it is still adequate. But furnace and Air were replaced with a new system. Crew came and installed the air in a work day, Dan came at the end to supervise everything was in order to aid a diagnose with a wire for the zoned system. All came good and I'm very pleased with their job.

Great service! The technician efficiently inspected HVAC equipment, and correctly diagnosed problem. Found water was coming from around roof vents and not HVAC unit. I will certainly call Air Necessities again for service, if need arises.

Called one day and scheduled installation for the next day. Installation went smooth. But, there were a few call backs after the system was installed due the a drainage issue in the air handler. After a few trips out they installed a condensate pump. They were prompt and professional and made it right. Thank you!

The reason why I didn't go with somebody else is everybody else I was getting was trying to push me to do a complete duct work change and, they were just pushy about it. I was like, you are are asking me to buy a new system and I just can't afford it. I have to do this in pieces. This was not a pushy company. I chose them to do the upstairs system and it was $7,200.They put in a new system. It was an upgraded system that I wouldn't have gotten from another company at the same price. They are really good. I like them a lot. If I need to, I will use them again in future.
