It started good enough. A gentleman came out measured a standard pan shower and place for a glass mirror. They said they would call in two days with a price. We had to call them in three for estimate. Once we received the invoice we paid half and was told it would be two to three weeks. On the second week, we called. We were told we were waiting on a towel bar/ handle and then we could set a time. Well, we did not order a sliding shower door which is what the handle was for. We ordered a hinged shower door and a glass panel. We went into the store to figure things out. The lady (Laura) was not very accommodating. She would not acknowledge that they made a mistake and then wanted two hundred more dollars for what we though we were getting. She then sounded like it was doing us a favor by not charging us for the wrong order. She also stated we would be looking at another two weeks. She promised that she would have the bar overnighted and we agreed if they could get the part in a timely manner we would let them install what we had not ordered as it did look nice. The installers did arrive as stated and installed the mirror and sliding shower door. They did break something on install but did fix before leaving.

I have used ACE Glass before for other projects, so I called and made an appointment for a window repair person to come to my home and see if they could replace the sealed double windowpanes in four window panels (three different windows in the house).  The repair person was here on time.  I really appreciated that he called me 30 minutes before the appointment time like I had asked so I could have time to get home from work.  I was a few minutes late and he had waited on me to get there.
First he checked the windows that needed the glass replaced, then he checked the glass panels I'd already ordered and received from my window manufacturer (they are covered under warranty).  He then provided me with an estimate of the repair and I approved the work.  He was able to do the glass replacements right then, which was wonderful since I wouldn't have to take off work another day.
His work was clean, neat and professional.  He was very nice to work with and did exactly what he said he would.  My windows look great!  I am very happy with the work he did.

Everything was wonderful! They were on time and didn't install an improper product. They got some glass that wasn't tempered and bathroom glasses need to be tempered so he refused to put it in. He took it back to his shop and got it tempered. It took a little bit longer but I appreciated the fact that he didn't go ahead and install it and he had to take it back out.

This service was completely unprofessional.  First, the Ace guy who came to inspect the windows actually did not inspect the windows.  He walked into the door and only measured to replace three windows.  He claims that the seller of the house pointed out three windows to replace.  However, Ace was hired to inspect all windows, and we were told by the woman at Ace that all windows were inspected.  This was not true.  One of the three windows that the window installer measured to replace did not need to be replaced.  At the time that the installer came back to the house to replace the windows, he informed me that he did not inspect the windows, and that he measured and brought the replacement glass for the wrong window.  When I informed him that I should not have to pay for his mistake, his office manager (Laura) said in fact I did have to pay because it was special order.  I do not think I should have to pay for Ace's mistake.  Then Laura left a message on my cell phone, and my realtor's cell phone.  My realtor twice tried to call Laura back, but each time Laura was out of the office.  My realtor left messages with another young girl in the office who apparently did not give these messages to Laura.  This morning, Laura belligerently calls my cell phone demanding payment and stating that my realtor and I were ignoring her calls.  I pointed out that no, my realtor had called her back, and that we were not ignoring Ace's calls.  I again repeated that we should not have to pay for the third window that did not need to be replaced, and that this was a screw up on Ace's part.  Laura again was belligerent and unprofessional and demanding payment right then by my credit card.  I explained that it was early morning (approximately 8 a.m.), that I was getting ready for work, and that I would send payment later.  I need three other windows replaced (one of which is a window that should have been replaced the first time), but I will definitely go to another glass company.  One that is honest, organized, and professional.

And Ace Glass was right the HAAG certified inspector I was prompted to hire (even as they advised me) condemned Home depots roofing job. Which at the first Home depots roofers seemed to be trying to pass off the roof leaking problem back to Ace glass company (which was the reason I had them out again). But Ace glass had formerly inspected the now cracked glass and it had passed needing only a sealer that they themselves took care of early on for us.

So they never tried to sell us a bill of goods either. Just really pleasant folks, who do a great job, I have no complaints with Ace Glass, they are my glass company for life here.

These guys are a breath of fresh air, they did a great job, I would highly reccomend

Replaced widows in our home. They were fantastic!

Mr. White arrived as scheduled. He worked quickly but not carelessly, removed the old windshield and neatly installed the new one. He was pleasant, informative without being talkative, cleaned up the repair area, and was gone in less than 45 minutes. Impressive.

We went in to the store on Two Notch and made our selections on the type of doors and mirrors. Ace came out to our house to take final measurements within a week and 2 weeks later came out to do the install exactly as they had committed. The install went without a hitch. The mirrors fit perfectly and the shower door operates without a hitch. Unfortunately, I do not recall the two installers names, but they were very respectful and did their work in a professional manner and cleaned up everything before they left. I am very pleased with the job they did for me.

Window pane replacement was requested one day and Ace glass responded the next day - good, punctual response as requested. However, when their work was inspected later that day, after their technicians had left, the window pane had in fact been replaced, but the work quality was substandard and most disappointing. Specifically, the silicone glazing applied to secure the pane to the window frame was done in a sloppy manner. It appeared to have been applied with hands and fingers rather than a caulking gun, the excess glazing was not neatly trimmed away and glazing smears were left on the new window pane!

I have used Ace Glass in the past and have always been satisfied. I called Ace to have someone come out to look at the window and provide an estiamte. Ace sent a service rep out a couple of days later. I didn't need to be home for the visit but ran into the rep as he was leaving. Very nice young man. He returned the info and measurements to his office and I got a call a couple of days later with a cost. Their arrangement was to pay half down over the phone, then they ordered the window and I would pay the balance on service day. The window came in within a week and they called and we scheduled a day. The service rep never showed for the initial call. I called a couple of days later and it was discovered that the service rep misplaced the order. Anyway, the sales rep agreed to come off the price a little to compensate for the inconvienance and the rep just left today after completing the job. I feel that the company acted in good faith regarding the missed appointment and the job seems to have been performed very well. Of course, I am not an expert on window replacements but I am happy with the work. I will definitely use Aceagain.

They were referred by a friend and I am happy with the outcome. I will use them again in the future.

I called Ace Glass, and after ascertaining exactly what I needed done, they said they could fix it. I took the light fixture in, they remembered me, and called out a guy from the back. and quot;If it can be fixed, he can do it. He is the best.and quot; I liked that it was personal, that they wanted the guy who was going to repair it to see it, and most of all I liked that they seemed to like each other. They weren't exact as to price of fix (did say each pane of glass would be $5.00) or when it would be ready, but I was confident and left.

Sure enough, they called me in a week, I went in to pick it up, it was PERFECT, and unbelievably it was only $24.00. I was extremely happy and plan to go to them for future business.

I had requested estimates for both semi-frameless and frameless doors. Information was left by phone about a week later and I was not exactly sure what I was being quoted on. Rep came and measured and indicted measurements were detailed enough for a frameless door.
However, when it was installed, it was a semi-frameless.
When I questioned the installer, he said that frameless and quot;would have cost alot moreand quot;. I left a message for rep at the office but they never called back. Door they installed is nice - I just don't understand all the lack of clear communication. Maybe I would have paid more and gotten the frameless - but they never gave me the data.
My advice: get the quote and specs from them in writing so you know what you are getting.
Installers did arrive on time on the agreed upon day.
Quality of the product I got and install seem to be good.

Shelves were lost by the moving company. They were an odd shape and difficult to replicate, but they made perfect copies at a very reasonable price.

They did it very quickly. While putting it back in the car, I realized I had asked them to cut the wrong side. When I brought it back in to have the correct side cut, they offered to do it at no charge. It's nice when a business is so forgiving for a customer's stupidity. Everyone there was very nice.
