Excellent job. Phil pointed out many more dead branches and potential "windshield destroyers" than I was aware of. He thoroughly explained how he would remove the branches and what was needed to keep the tree healthy in the future (tree is a major landscape feature in my front yard). He removed several branches that were also threatening my new roof and thinned branches going into the street before the city had a chance to butcher them. He also explained what I could and could not do with the many knots in the trunk. He removed several branches from a neighbor's pecan and walnut tree, again threatening my roof, and recommended removal of a "junk" tree with a split trunk to allow more light to a beautiful Japanese maple in my yard. Phil walked me through all the trees in my yard, explaining what they were, the care required, and offering suggestions. He will be returning in the spring to remove brushy trees on my back fence and digging holes for me to plant a living fence. He neatly cut and piled all the dead branches on the street for the city crews to remove. Very knowledgeable, very friendly. Excellent job.
