Great Service! Very quick and professional. Took about 2 weeks from quote to install. Counter tops look great! There was a small defect on the island and they came out the next day to see if they can fix it. They could not so quickly replaced the piece. Very happy with communication and services.

Cabinets which I installed were fine, but granite counter tops were another story. Started out that the two slabs of granite that we picked out with their salesperson were more material than needed for the job. When countertops were installed the bar height section was not as wide as the section they removed and where the counter top was seamed, the match was awful. They would have had to work hard to find two sections of material that were more different in color. Also they ran pattern "gross grain" in laundry room as opposed to the long direction everywhere else. The edges were also a different profile in the laundry room area, joints were noticeably uneven in another area. We have had granite countertops installed in three other houses and this was by far and away the worst job we have experienced. When contacted about it, sales person put it off on fabrication and never returned to even look at the issues. I finally went to talk to the owner in person, and his attitude was indifferent at best. He said more material would have been required to do the job correctly, and it would have cost more. It would have been nice him to hav contacted us before it was poorly done and at least given us the option to have the work done correctly. We would gladly purchased the additional material if the option had been offered. It would have been much less expensive than having a large portion of the material removed and replaced by another company as we are now planning on doing.

We wanted granite countertops for our kitchen.  We decided on Palmetto Marble and Granite due to the price and the job done in our friend?s kitchen.  We were aware that each home, cabinets, etc., are different, and with any kind of construction, it is not 100% perfect.

On three separate accounts, Joel (sales rep) told us that the plumber would arrive within 1-2 hours after the installers, and that the countertop with the sink would be one whole piece.  I had confirmed everything with Joel Friday morning before the date of installation.  Monday morning, Joel informed us that the plumber will be coming late in the afternoon (an inconvenience we didn?t plan on).   As the installers brought the countertops in, we saw a total of 4 pieces (should?ve been 3).  I asked Joel why there were 2 pieces of countertop for the sink side.  He said they had to seam 2 pieces as it can break.  He should have mentioned that before installation.  Asked why the plumber was going to so late, he said if I could get one earlier, he will deduct the charges.

The finished job looked nice, but with issues: 1) the 2 pieces seamed were not expected or preferred, but the installers did a beautiful job, 2) the sink reveal was wrong and uneven all around, 3) there was thick ?silicone filler? in front of the sink (remedy for the cabinets being slightly unleveled and sink installation) between the granite and cabinet, and 4) the dishwasher was not secured evenly.  The other two countertops, the edge, and the backsplash were beautiful.  The installers were quick and clean.  The plumbers were great.

Joel came out to access the job and couldn?t understand why we were dissatisfied.  He says those things cannot be fixed.  I asked if we were stuck with it.  His answer was ?pretty much.? He stated several times that we are his only complaint in 4 years.  I told him I pay attention to details.  To that, he asked if I?ve heard the saying, ?paralysis by analysis?? Regardless of whether or not he agreed with me, he did not need to be rude, condescending, and offensive.

The owner, Darryl, decided to have the entire sink side countertop removed and redone.  With the second installation, it turned out much better.  The seam was not as invisible as the first installation, but we were aware of it.  At the end, we are satisfied the outcome and our new granite countertops do look nice.

I worked with Joel Hagar.  He directed me to his granite suppliers, and I selected the granite slabs of my choice within the class agreed upon in our contract.  My initial selection was not enough for the job, and the suppier didn't have any additional slabs of the same granite.  Joel allowed me to choose any granite a class above for the same price.  It looks great!
We arranged for the measurements.  His team was very considerate and professional.  They arrived on time and completed the templates accurately.  We scheduled the installation (within a week of the measurements), and they arrived on time and installed it perfectly.  The seams were very tight.  They did forget the backsplash on my bar area.  They came back the next day and installed them.
I am very pleased with the results.  I was also very pleased with the experience with Palmetto.

Absolutely beautiful! The highlight of a complete kitchen make-over! We picked out a complex slab of granite that we hoped would accent our new cabinets, floors and fresh paint. The folks at Palmetto Marble & Granite did a fantastic job of fabricating and installing over 70 sq ft of materials, and its a perfect fit, both physically and aesthetically! Couldn't be happier!

an awesome job. i had replaced my old kitchen counter tops with granite. i took my time deciding on a contractor and am glad i did. i got 5 estimates  decided to use this company. daryl (owner) came through with everything he said he would do. i had about 90sq. of granite installed. the price included all the plumbing and a sink of my choice, not stainless steel.  the installers were very professional. they  prep the area with drop clothes so i had no mess whatsoever. they were done in about 4 hours. the price was good and for 300.00 more they gave me an ogee finish on the granite. other companies wanted a lot more. they sealed the surface and cleaned up nicely after themselves. this was such a stress free experience and i  greatly recommend them.

After the bid was accepted I asked if there was going to be any extra granite left over-there was enough left over to be used in a laundry room, palmetto marble installed the extra granite very reasonably, and greatly appreciated.
