We are different from most grooming salons because we only keep your pet for as long as it takes to groom them, usually 2-3 hours. "I am sorry for the terrible experience but unfortunately the dog just arrived and was about to be put up in a kennel but the door was opened before she was. The policy is to check the floor before the door is opened because dogs can slip leads and accidents can happen. This was a horrible unfortunate accident and we apologized profusely. Once again I am so sorry that this procedure was not followed and we have reviewed once again with employees to be 100% sure the floor is clear before we open the door. This groomer now follows proper procedure and asks and looks before door is opened. Also this groomer, your favorite groomer is retiring next week and moving back to Michigan. I wish we could regain your confidence in us because this was 100% an accident and I'm sorry our multiple apologies can not make it better."
Christy talked to me when I dropped him off about what I wanted done and answered any questions I had.
She called me a half hour before he was going to be ready to go home so that he wouldn't be waiting on me.
He was well taken care of, not to mention the great groom he received. I have had him groomed at other places in the past and he's come home completely exhausted. After his appt. at Grooming Naturally, he wasn't tired at all. I know that was because they let him rest when he needed to. Also, the atmosphere isn't chaotic like some places.

"First, I'd like to state that we are so sad we did not earn an "A" rating. We sincerely strive for "A's" with every groom. Secondly, we do apologize that your groomer was not there when you picked up. Since you where her last groom of the day she did wait for a bit but it was her daughters Senior Prom and she did want to be home by a certain time to help her get ready and take pictures. After going over the notes and speaking with your groomer I have a good understanding of the situation. Your groomer had explained to me that during your consultation with her it was understood that your beautiful long haired cat hat extensive matting on its sides and down its rear legs. She said you expressed concern about having to shave and would prefer to have the mats brushed out which of course would have been ideal. Your groomer explained how difficult it would be to de-mat (not to mention,in my opinion, how dangerous it would have been do to the fact cats skin is a lot like tissue paper and can tear very easily from a brush or de-matter) and that she would try her very best to carefully de-mat what she could but a lot of the mats would probably have to be shaved. I completely understand you did not receive the look that you desired but for the welfare of your wonderful cat shaving the mats that could not safely come out with brushing was absolutely the kindest procedure to take. The way we explain how mats probably feel to a cat or dog is it is like having your hair in a pony tail for weeks or months at a time. All of the hair is pulled together tightly for an extended period. After time the skin beneath becomes irritated and sore. Now add someone pulling and tugging on it with a brush, comb or de-matter. That would be extremely painful at the time of the grooming and would make that pet very fearful the next time they came in for a grooming. We always try to do what is best for our furry clients while keeping in mind what their loving pet parents would like them to look like. It's always a fine line to walk but we refuse to hurt an animal during the grooming process just to have a better esthetic outcome. Once again we do apologize that you were not 100% satisfied - we would love to have the chance to bring our grade up - but I do hope this clarifies why the grooming results were what they were. "Thank you for your review! We try so very hard to make every customer happy. We take the extra time at drop off to listen to the client and meet the pet so we can make sure we understand exactly what is expected. Then at pick up each groomer checks out their own dogs/cats and asks if everything is as the client expected and lets them know if they need anything different to please let us know. We take great pride in each and every grooming and try with in the best of our control to get the pets out in a timely manner. Usually the only time we may run behind is Thanksgiving and Christmas but we do let each and every client know that we may run behind and ask them to please be patient with us. Thank you once again it's clients such as yourself that leave us with a smile on our faces at the end of the day because we know we we were successful in completing everything to our high standard."
