They were not able? to clean both up and downstairs at same time so had to make 2 appointments. Second time I asked them to come at specific time frame, they ignored and came earlier. Not thrilled with that but will try a third time and evaluate again

Barbara's crew did an incredible job!! They were polite, and showed respect for my home and belongings. They were being paid by the hour, but you wouldn't know it by how fast and efficient they were. My house smelled great and looked FANTASTIC!! Every single surface in my home was gleaming. Because it was a first time cleaning, I was charged $85, which I have found is pretty standard. (for reference, my home is 4,000 sq ft)

Went well

Terrific...the place was immaculate.
We have 3 dogs and 2 cats and its a good sized space.
When they were done I couldn't find a dog or cat hairy anywhere.
They'll be back in 2 weeks.

I am updating my original response because my first review was done via telephone and I was not informed that it would be on the website as an actual review. I was frustrated when Angie's List called me and I was snappy and in a rush with the person who called me. I felt Angie's List had been harassing me for a review, so honestly I was not upset with Barbara's Cleaning. As a result, I was not able to provide an accurate review.

I was pleased with Barbara's Cleaning Services and we have used them for 3 move-out cleanings with empty houses.

Barbara's response to my original review must have been for the wrong client, however. I have no daughter (only a 2-year-old son) and the house was completely empty, so they did not have to work around anything. My only complaint was that the cleaning crew was very late (apparently they had gotten lost) and my mother was there waiting with my son in an empty house for them to arrive. I realize getting lost was not their fault but a phone call to us could have easily gotten them correct directions.

Barbara called me after my first review to question it. I'm sorry that she was hurt by my review and I explained the situation to her and informed her that I would try to remove my review. I decided, however, that I would correct it instead. I hope this will be a suitable solution for her and will not affect her business.

Have been using service regularly for a couple of years. Have been very happy with results. Will continue to use this business to help with house cleaning needs.

I contacted Barbara because my house needed a thorough deep-cleaning. She and her team did an amazing job, on time and on budget. She also discussed a regular servicing (once a month or so) for less money per visit with my wife. I will be using her services again.

They do a good job. They come in ones a month and do all my heavy cleaning. They are reliable and on time. Sometimes four, sometimes five people that come in and blitz the place. But they are worth it. I would continue to use them in the future.
