I have used Pressley Auto Service for like 15 years. They are extremely honest. They will tell me in advance if something is going to be expensive before they do it. They never do anything without making sure that you understand the cost in advance. Their work is reliable. I have never had to go back to them for a problem that they did not fix nor have I had to go back for new problems that were caused when they fixed something. I know them well. They are friendly on the phone and payment services are easy. I will call them and ask them a question about my son's car in California and they will help me out. They are very good.

I called and explained my issues I was experiencing with my truck. The service professional took good notes and conveyed the info to their technicians and located the issue. They called me with the totals for the repairs and I gave them the go head to fix my truck for the agreed sum. Could not get to pick up my truck until the weekend so dropped by and paid my bill and took my keys returning later in the weekend to retrieve my truck. Overall, it was a good experience. I feel they are looking to do a good job and very helpful in understanding what I need to do to keep my truck running well. Thanks!

I have used Pressley's for since 1993 on all of my cars. They were recommended many years ago by a friend who said and quot;Wherever you are you need a good, honest mechanic and in this town that's Pressley'sand quot;. I have never been disappointed. Their prices are fair, they will work you in if you have an emergency but an appointment is best because they are very busy all of the time. Susan Pressley, the customer service face of the business will remember your name and your car. and she knows enough about cars to give you good advice over the phone.

I have had an engines replaced, many standard services performed and many fixes from A/C to alternators. The cost I have entered in this review is the amount I have spent over the years.

If you are new in town an want a 'good, honest mechanic' Pressely's is it.

There was a noise coming from the engine that was very worrisome. I had taken it to the dealership that I had been going for years. They first tried to fix the problem by changing my engine mounts which cost me $500. The noise did not go away. I took it back and they came back telling me that it was the power steering pump and gave me an estimate of $300 and a possible $800 more if the pump has damaged the power steering system. Hesitant to drop $1100 that I don't have, I took it to Presley Auto Service. They told me that it was actually a barring on a belt that was making the noise. They also said that they could SEE where the ratting was coming from. They gave me an estimate for $190, and that is what I paid. They did the job in ONE day and no more noise. Needless to say, I will not be taking my car to that incompetent dealership anymore! If you live in the Clemson area, this is the place to go!

The only thing I didn't like about them was that they were pretty busy. They were courteous and timely. They were honest about the work and they didn't charge us more than they should have.

Great! They have an e-mail account and will respond ASAP (even on the weekends) and are very curteous. Also they offer a discount when paying in cash, as opposed to check or credit card.
