Stone Castle Fence & Patio

I gave them 50% deposit of $4,010 beginning of May 2022 for a fence work and they told me 4-6 weeks (their estimate was already roughly 30% higher than anyone else but I agreed since they said they will get it done quickly than others). I waited all the way until July 11th when I asked for a refund they told me they will process it (have it in writing). A month and half later I contact them they asked me to wait in Summerville they will bring cash and they never showed up. Later Billy threatened me in writing that he is getting aggravated and will make it harder for me to get the money. After waiting since May also since July 11th I only contacted them 2-3 times asking for a refund and been nothing but nice & patient. Needless to mention AVOID them by all costs. Now they just texted saying they won’t refund the downpayment at all.

This fence was built 6 months ago and is already falling apart. I shouldn't be surprised however because the experience was bad from the get go. One section facing the road was built on a downward slope (check out the picture). And the bottom of the gate has jagged uneven boards. To top it off, we asked for a 6 ft privacy fence and the owner himself built a 4 foot fence and refused to fix it. This company has poor craftsmanship and even worse customer service. Also, be sure to google the owner by his name in the Summerville, SC area before having him around your children!

It was a joke. Billy the owner talks a good game, but does not stand behind any of his work. Once he gets your money, he never comes back or even answers our phone calls. The vinyl privacy fence his guys installed was so crooked ( up in areas and then goes down then up again), the gates have so much gap in them, that I can see someone walking up to fence thru gates. The gate latches are not lined up. We have to pick up on gates in order to shut. The double gates they installed are sagging so bad. The one rod to push in ground does not stop the sag. Billy told us he had ordered another one for the second gate, NEVER SEEN IT. The fence post caps, blew off. His guys left dried mud all over areas of fence, he said they would come back to pressure wash it ( THEY NEVER SHOWED UP). They even left the piles of dirt from the holes they dug behind each fence post they dug, they never raked it down. Once he got our money, he ignored our phone calls. We have called him several, several times, left messages, we texted him, still no answer. He is full of it and I would never use him again or recommend him to anyone. He lied to us.
