Peace of work! Im 1/2 way through my lease and it has been ****. Recently was told about my rent increasing randomly and was ridiculed & they were demeaning when I asked why! The place was never ready for the first 2 weeks and by the way i was 8 months pregnant and basically homeless if I didn’t have an RV to live in because the landlord started repairs 1 week prior to the commencement of lease from a prior eviction! The landlord walked in the house 1 week after I moved in like he lived there! Landlord scheduled a random emergency inspection to be held the next day and I agreed of corse and then landlord canceled because it rained! Please help yourself and have a lawyer look at any lease before sining. They will make promises off paper and do not follow through or if you try to get it written it may take 4-5 times to get part of what’s promised written and in reality why sit and argue back and forth, it’s clear their client is the property owner and the tenants are disposable! Run and don’t look back, you’ll thank me! I wish I would’ve listened to my gut.
