The project was not done well. We sent emails and phone messages. After 2 days my wife did get a return phone call and a very apologetic person who said they would come back and spread to the area they missed. They came back 3 days later and got the area missed.

I have used Pineneedles4sale.com for several years in a row. I liked the convienance of ordering online and leaving detailed delivery instructions online. For several years, everything was done very well with high quality long-leaf pine needles (gold color not brown with long stems) delivered very promptly (within a few days) and left as instructed. Last year (2015), the pine needles delivered were not long-leaf pine needles, but the short variety that does not last as long. I called and discussed with the owner and we agreed to have him arrange to deliver 10 extra bales of fresh long-leaf needles, which he did. He said his supplier was to blame for the lower quality needles. This year (2016), I ordered 25 bales of long-leaf pine needles ($4.50 per bale) and instructed to have them left in a natural area in the front of the house. They left them in the edge of the driveway and when they left, the truck ran up a small hill that had a small natrual stone wall at the bottom and tore the wall up. I called the owner and told him about the delivery and the hill/wall damage, but he did not do anything about it. I waited for him to offer a solution but there was none offered and since the damage was minor (I could stack the stones back up myself) there was not much he could do but not charge me for the needles. I did not request that he not charge as I was waiting to see if he would just do it without asking. Regardless, when I began spreading the needles, I noticed they really were not of highest quality (short and long-leaf mixed together) and the bales were not wound tight. The twine on the bales were lose, which means there are not as many needles per bale as ones delivered years ago. I periodically pick up a few long-leaf bales from Lowes and I have something to compare to.
The ease of ordering and promptness are positives for this service, but I will not be using them again next year because of the quality of the needles for $4.50 and the delivery has not followed instructions this year.

Well, I engaged a high rated provider from Angie's List to supply and install (spread) pine straw at my residence. This was initially arranged by pre-pay ordering on the providers' website which had a protocol for delivery but not a means for scheduling, So I eventually followed my order confirmation with several calls to the provider. "A couple of days". Next week the same, maybe Wednesday maybe Friday - depends; then silence.
The bales were eventually delivered on Friday and installed safely with efficiency and spread according to my wishes by a very motivated and congenial crew of 3 people. Per instructions from the website I had marked the areas to be covered to allow work to proceed should the delivery occur while I was away. I used white landscaper's paint to outline the areas. Fortunately, I was there to assure the details.
Okay, it's pine straw. All's well that ends well. Still as an improvement for customers that want installation, not just delivery. I think a cell phone message with delivery targets would be beneficial.

This is the second time I've used PineNeedles4Sale.com. I spread the needles myself, so I cannot speak to that. But I've ordered online twice now and both times the service was quick and the directions on where to leave the bundles was followed exactly. This last time, I ordered 30 bales of needles on a Friday and they were neatly stacked at the end the driveway as I had specified by Saturday at noon. Never saw or heard them come, but when I went out, there they were. I think the previous time they were delivered within about two overnights. The needles maintained their color throughout a whole year, which is a prime reason they received a repeat order from me.

The pine needles came and were installed within 1 business day of payment. I don't know if they are usually so prompt, the site asks that you allow a few business days, but they were extremely fast in delivery. The crew installed with no fuss and did a good job.

The crew of two delivered the 60 bales of pine straw that I ordered on-line (the on-line ordering process was easy. So easy, in fact that I called to make sure it was legit, which a friendly conversation assured me it was). After a very brief explanation of the areas I needed treated, they went to work. They worked hard, fast, and efficiently. The job they did was neat and clean. They took time to blow all stray needles into place, and even keyed in the pine straw along the edges of my sidewalk to ensure that nothing blows or washes away. The $120+/- extra I paid to have them install was WELL worth it. Overall an excellent experience.

A crew of two men came out and pine strawed my large property. I ordered 50 bundles of pine straw and they ended up using 57 bundles. The crew was professional and kept me abreast of the progress. They got my okay before using the extra 7 bundles.
Let me tell you....they did awesome work! I had blown and raked leaves into many islands under trees. They blew leaves back into the islands before they put the pine straw down.
It looks so nice. I would definitely use them again.

I used the company's website to determine how many bales of pine needles that I would need. Once I ordered the pine needles, the workers came right on schedule and completed the work much quicker than I would have expected. They did a very professional job. I would hire them again unless I could find another vendor for less money.

It was pretty easy. We needed some mulch so we called, ordered it and they delivered it a couple of days later. We were not there when they came so we didn't see anyone but basically we got home and there was a pile of mulch in the driveway.

The mulch was delivered on Monday with a phone call confirming the location of both the mulch and the pine needles. It was easy, fast and exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this vendor and definitely use them again.

I went to their website and submitted my order for 40 bales of needles. I clicked a button that gives them permission to add or subtract from the number of bales needed in order to complete the job. They were very responsive to my request. Katharine called the day I submitted my order and was able to arrange for delivery the same day. I was not able to be home when they did the work, but I was immediately impressed with the work when I arrived home. All of the beds look well kept and professionally cared for. The impact on the curb appeal of the house is significant. However, upon further inspection I realized that they had spread needles down a side of the house I had requested they avoid, and when I got my final invoice, I discovered that they spread 12 more bales of needles than I had ordered. I had done the job myself last year with many fewer bales. The additional cost was close to $100. When I expressed my concerns to them, they made a decision to refund the additional $100 without me even asking for it. I am incredibly impressed with their professionalism and commitment to customer service. The yard looks fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone who asks without hesitation.

We purchased a relativley large number of pine needle bales to cover our tree and flower beds for the Winter. The pine needle bales were of high quality with strong healthy looking pine needles and literally no other material in the bales. The sales support was fantastic. Katharine was very responsive on the phone and delivery was prompt without any problems. We had ordered a bit too many bales and we had no problem returning some bales for full refund. We greatly appreciate Katharina to accomodate our pine needle needs on short notice. We would definitely recommend this company and will use them again in future.
