There were a few minor issues, but they are good for their word and came back to take care of them. Every time I would call, the owned responded immediately. When I told him I was considering new garage doors, they said if I needed anything from them, they would come out free of cost to do touch ups, which I did not wind up needing but very much appreciated.

I had litigation against them that they lost. They are not who they say they are. They filed a false mechanic's lien against me illegally and it was thrown out. They basically frauded me on a paint job. It was a terrible paint job and it was supposed to be a lifetime guarantee and it wasn't. I am waiting on a ward from the judge.

"This particular job was back in 2006, not 2009 as claimed. There were different company principle/partners then. The job was NOT ALLOWED to be completed. Company reps were threatened w/ physical violence & hypodermic needles. The crew was banned from the property and not allowed to finish. The majority of the job was never paid for. The Charleston County case that was referenced is available online, along with the pages & pages & pages & pages, etc. of other cases the homeowner has been involved with. My biggest concern was matching the new texture and color to that of the house. Another big concern....the work had to be done without our oversight because we live six hundred miles away. After reading an article in the "Charleston Magazine", I e-mailed Mike Shiver, owner of Perma Coat, and ask him for his assistance. He went out to the house, took pictures and sent them back to me with a full explanation of the work he believed needed to be done. At first I was reluctant to spend $1355 on a the repair. Mike worked with me and provided me with an outline of the work to be done and his rationale for each step. So, I signed on. Mike kept me fully informed of the work schedule and continuously updated me with photos of the work as it progressed. Additionally, he power washed the area between the two walls, including the garage, and primed, repaired, and painted the moulding. His workers did a fabulous job and cleaned up after the project was completed. My husband and I were present at the house over the Christmas holiday and watched the final process. I have to say that the job looked better than wonderful when it was finished! This was the first and only experience, in Charleston, where I received more from a job than I expected. We will use this company again and again.
