very well - I had bought a new oven from a contractor and needed to have it installed, wired in, etc. They came when they said they would, got the job done, left everything neat and tidy.

Jeff was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as his two employees. I am pleased with all the work that was done. He did not charge by the hour but for the job, which I do appreciate. I will definitely recommend New Power Electrical in the future to my real estate clients and friends.

During the job, Jeff asked me where the doorbell transformer was located and if it worked. I assured him that it did. After I paid him at the completion of the job, I noticed that my doorbell was not working. I called Jeff and he told me that they may have accidently cut the wire when fishing and drilling the kitchen wall for the new wires. I asked him to come back and fix the doorbell wire.......HE REFUSED to come back and would not answer any of my calls. I am a very upset and dissatisfied customer. I did not realize the doorbell did not work until company arrived and waited a long time before knocking at the door. I now know he knew about this problem when he asked me about the doorbell wires. He could have had an easy fix before the walls got replastered. and guess it was a mistake hiring him since he will not correct the problem his workers created. So much for a word of mouth recommendation. I am a senior citizen and don't appreciate any added expense caused by Jeff and his Company.

Worker (not the owner) showed up promptly and installed two ceiling fans. The fan with the remote failed within a short period of time, and it seemed to me that the problem was not with the fan (a common, higher end brand sold at the box stores) but with the wiring. The worker installed the fan very, very quickly. We reached out via telephone several times to the owner and received no response. I also sent an email through this website to him on 12/6, and still no response. It may very well be that the fan is the problem, and not the wiring, but I will have to hire another contractor to tell me one way or another. Either you stand by your work, or you don't.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed] I looked into this service call and it appears you used the Angie's list website for your primary communication with me and we do not use this on a day to day basis we prefer to talk directly with you especially to offer you service and get you scheduled promptly . Nevertheless less I'm sorry for the inconvenience you have encountered and would be more than happy to personally work with you on your next project and compensate you."

A home inspection reveled 4 outlets not functioning correctly. Jeff had to remove one outlet as the power wire was tripping the breaker indicating a nail or screw had nicked the wire. He installed a outlet within a few feet of the bad outlet and rewired/replaced all bathroom GFI's.

"Jeff" arrived on time and immediately went to work installing new ballester and bulbs in bathroom and then went to replace kitchen light switch with a new dimmer.  He was extremely friendly and efficient, worked quickly and explained his work to us while he was working.  We highly recommend him, and in the future if we need more electrical repair work to be done, would not hesitate to call him.  We highly recommend him.

Troubleshoot cause of GFCI outlet in the garage tripping & sometimes not able to reset it. He quickly determined the cause & replaced the GFCI outlet & even replaced it with on that has a LED light to make it  easy to see from across the room if it has tripped. While he was there I had him check a wall switch which was loose & not always making the light come on. He replaced the switch & now it works perfectly.
The owner himself came to do the work & he is such a delightful young man. You know how you can just tell that a person is honest, good through & through? He was like that. I will definitely be calling on him again in the future.

Very sloppy work, I think part of it has to do with the fact that his helper, who did most of the work on this project is constantly on his phone, i.e. never puts it down for longer than 5 minutes; as a result I would have to call Jeff(the owner) to refix new problems that arose from items that they had done.  They never cleaned up after themselves until the last payday..and then still left cut wires and debris scattered about. They put in under cabinet lights with double sided tape, which promptly fell down several hours later.
Put in faulty can lights that blinked like old disco balls.  Then tried to say he did some of this because we weren't paying him; we paid every invoice in a timely manner except the final one.  He demanded final payment that day but I told him to wait until Monday to be sure everything was working, which was rare.

"We have worked with (Removed member name) several times in the past and always had a great experience , pleases with our workmanship and customer satisfaction which is why she requested us to do a new kitchen remodel. We were fully committed with work but because she was a valued customer we made time to help her since the Carpenter's electrician could not make it. This job had no plans or prints so I took it upon my self to draw her different layouts for lighting and outlets , in which she was very pleased but I still understood that there maybe some changes to meet her needs as the project is under way. She was acting as the GC, so she was coordinating all the trades on the job which can be stressful and confusing. It was tough to read the negative comments because during the project we were never notified about any issues with workmanship or debris spread out everywhere, that's something we take seriously . Towards the very end of the project the customer requested us to rewire all of her outlets and switches which was another 1800.00 dollars worth of work so if those negative statements above are true I don't think someone would want to add more work to the job. We have always checked in and out after each day of work , ensuring the customer was pleased and requested how we can be of service, we also do a walk through of the job so we can make note of any corrections before final payment. We are fully committed to our jobs and projects because we seek the satisfaction at the end."

Last full day of our stay and we needed help right away. Jeffrey was punctual, professional and solved our problems. What took my husband half a day to figure out was fixed very quickly. Always pays to call a professional.

I could not be happier.  Jeff scheduled the appointment with only a 2 day wait over the weekend.  He arrived on time and was professional and friendly.  I learned that he is a Veteran and also has a Masters degree, which I think is imprressive.  He immediately found the problem.  He had replacements plugs, but not in a color that matched my other outlets.  So, he went to Lowes and bought one, taking at least 40 minutes of his time.  He also removed a broken bulb from a ceiling fan at no charge.  I will definitely use him for any future electrical needs and give him the highest recommendation.

I called the  company on Monday AM after the failure occurred on Sunday.  The electrician (also the owner of the company) was able to make the service call that same day in the afternoon.  He was a bit late but the reason  was acceptable and he was genuinely apologetic. He was very competent and thoroughly checked the circuit and receptacles to look for any hidden damage and the source of the interruption.  Much to my embarrassment he identified a bad circuit breaker that had tripped but appeared to be OK after my quick check the day before.  He replaced the breaker and made some recommendations regarding the electrical panel that I should have addressed in the future due to minor code violations.
We plan to use him again to add an new circuit for our porch and to also address the items noticed in our panel.

My main problem with their overall service was with the end cost. On first contact I explained what I needed done and I was given a quote over the phone. Once they got started with the job however they adjusted their price. I was told that the initial quote was based on less work (they omitted one chandelier installation and repair work). I was told the total cost needed to be increased to $650 in order to complete all the things I needed in the time that was available.
I agreed and told them to go ahead with the work although this end price was NOT what we discussed over the phone. I believe I was pretty clear initially about what work I needed done. I think the owner either didn't pay close attention to what I was asking for or he totally misunderstood. In the end they were able to complete all the work in a timely manner and overall I felt the electricians were competent with the installation and repair. They arrived pretty much on time (there was some confusion about our exact location) and communicated well.

"[member name removed], Thank you for the kind words its always appreciated. It appears there was an issue with the cost. We quoted you over the phone for the items you requested but when we arrived on site there was a few more items that you wanted us to do as well as you asking to go to the store and pick up more materials. This wasn't a problem at all, we just had to remind you of what was quoted and what was in addition."

Jeff was great!  He was able to get to my problem the same day.  He was running a little late, but when he tried to get me on my cell phone to let me know, my battery was dead.  He still got to the appointment within 15 minutes of the scheduled time.  He got right to work and completed the repair in a very short time period.  He was friendly and professional.  I will definitely call him for any electrical problems I have.

Jeff was extremely courteous, professional and informative. He went above and beyond just changing out a switch; he provided useful information about my electrical system that set my mind at ease. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.
