MCB PLUMBING

I was referred to MCB by a friend who had them plumb their new home. I enjoyed my conversations with them from start to finish. All employees were kind and respectful. I not only had phone access to Matt (the owner), but also to all of the foremen and his office manager. They were all very punctual and truthful. They were even willing to go the extra mile and fix things that were not in their job description just to keep my job moving. I would definitely use them again. After the job was complete, they called about 2 weeks later just to be sure everything was still okay. I would definitely use them again.

We have had so many problems with Matt Barfield that we finally had to fire him and get another plumber. First, he worked on our house without getting the required permit from the County for weeks without our knowledge (he told us he had the permit). We were fined by the county as a result. Second, because he did not have the permit we could not have our inspection in a timely fashion, which held up progress on the house. During the final phase of his work (hooking up fixtures etc) he was very unresponsive, including not answering or returning our phone calls. Many times he did not show up when he was supposed to and when he did show up it was in the afternoon because he had "more important jobs." He said he would be done in 2 days but 2 1/2 weeks later he still wasn't finished. Finally, the last time he did not show up, call or answer his phone, we were forced to find another plumber to finish the job.
