I would give an A on service, A on installation, and A on reliability.   I thought it was a little bit overpriced because it's one room of carpet, but I needed to get it down & quickly and they were the only ones that said they could come out and get it down quickly for me.  I called a couple others and they couldn't get to me for 2 weeks so I went with Lowe's even though they were a little, to me, a little pricey.  The guy that came out and did all the work & installed it was great.  He moved all my furniture, put it all back the way I wanted it, everything.  He didn't have anything to do with the price.  I would give an A for the service of it all.  The guy that did it was excellent.  I thought it was a little bit pricey but he was done within a weeks time and they were the only ones I could get to do it within a coupe days time.  I would call them again, but hopefully I would have more time to shop around.

There was an issue - it was a complicated install, and the seat wanted to move - and the installer came back and adjusted it. We haven't had any problems since.

Frankly I figured since it was Lowes it would be handled
promptly and professionally. Not the case. Lowes was quick to charge my card
plus quick to do an upsell attempt to sell me windows too. The experience went
like this. I waited on the day the sales person was supposed to arrive to do
the estimate. Near the end of the business day he called and told me he was
running late and if the next day would be soon enough. I agreed. The next day
he arrived and did the estimate. He computed the attic square footage by
measuring the outside dimensions of my house. I have vaulted ceilings and I
wanted the old insulation removed from that part of the attic only. One side of
the vaulted ceiling was hard to see and access. His price included labor costs
to remove that insulation. Ok… so I have an estimate. 14 days after his visit
no one contacted me for an install date. Just silence. They have my money and I
have a 14 day old charge on my wonderful new Lowes card without even an install
date. So I went to my local Lowes to find out what was wrong. No real answer
for the failure to I asked the lady at customer service how I could cancel the
job. She reminded me I had signed a legal contract. I called the dept the
salesman worked out of the next day and told them I was cancelling the contract
and I received an ok and an apology. I thought that was the end of it but Lowes
kept the sale active and the salesman later called me asking for a second
chance. I agreed but told him I needed assurance he could get the vaulted
ceiling part of job 100% complete as far as pulling out the old insulation. He
set an appointment to come back to my house with a expert who determined they
could not remove the old insulation. They suggested power vents to remove some
of the hot air from the attic to go with the new insulation job, leave the old
insulation on that part and I should be fine. I asked for a requote and waited
and heard nothing back. All this time Lowes is holding my money and I receive a
bill. I lost patience with the salesman who was using my preference (texting)
to communicate with me. He was hopeful I was also going to buy all new windows
from him too. So losing patience I called the on-duty manager at Lowes and told
him I still didn’t have the new quote and I had a bill from them that was due.
He assured me the salesman would ASAP provide the re-quote. He never provided
the re-quote. Keep in mind this fiasco started Aug 2. After losing 100% of my
faith in Lowes I cancelled the order with one of the managers. He apologized
and said he was (as we speak) refunding the money. Not the case. The refund was
never executed. Another manager on one of many calls to Lowes confirmed the
refund wasn’t processed and promised it would be done. I had talked to every
assistant manager that store has, invested many calls, an email to Lowes HQ in
NC and wasted a lot of time. Plus this dragged on so long I got hit with a
$25.00 late charge, a call from Lowes Credit collections and a late pay on my
credit history. I used Lowes for the business ethics I expected instead of
using a small contractor with a magnetic stick on door decal. Also I never was
able to reach the GM of that store and always was re-directed to an assistant
manager. On the bright side all those assistant managers were very nice.
Finally today Sept 11th I got the credit to my accound and the
refund of the $25.00 late fee. Aug 2 to Sept 11th they held about
$2600.00 of my money without the first molecule of insulation being blown. I
will be cancelling my Lowes card and will be going to the store across the
street from them (Home Depot). This was a very long waste of time.
Unprofessional services and the embarrasment of being contacted over an overdue
bill and credit damage. Very disappointed in Lowes. PS, during this fiasco I
received a call from Lowes asking me if I was enjoying my new insulation. Amatures.

They did a good job. My experience with them was good. The installer and Lowe's were two different companies. I would use them again.

Everything went fine. The contractor did a good job. They were courteous and cleaned up well.
