Computer Repair
The technician, Tim I believe, came out to my house to pick up the drive. This was the end of January. He told me it'd take a week or so to examine the drive and he would get back to me with his recommendation on how to proceed, if it was even possible to recover. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to repair. Over the next few months, he consistently didn't return calls or emails, and when he did, acted as though the months passing didn't exist and wasn't phased by the length of time it was taking. Every time we spoke, I heard that it would only be another week or so. The longest amount of time was 1 month without hearing from him, even after leaving enough messages to fill his voicemail box. It is now the end of June and I still don't have my hard drive, or any idea if it will ever be seen again. I've given up on the hope of having the data recovered.
