Not well.  I understand the company is struggling, but so are many businesses, but that is not a reason to take advantage of customers.  I will not refer this company.  I reported it to the Better Business Bureau, where the company is not a member but had a negative report before my dealings, which I did not check.

Do's:  Please check the Better Business Bureau.  Ask for referrals.  Request to see a book or list w/pictures of items repaired by the company.  Check out the company thoroughly.

I will pay closer attention to companies and will  hire only ones with good ratings and more than a few ratings.  I feel some consumers do not report bad experiences or bother to check sites such as The Better Business Bureau or Angie's List.

It is important to deal with a company that strives for good customer service and the back the quality of their work and service.

They were very slow at returning my initial calls (I had to leave 3 messages before getting a reply). Pick-up and delivery were included in the price (that was nice). The gentleman provided me a verbal description of the job and a price, then subsequently "waffled" on the job, stating, "we don't really do this kind of refinishing anymore, but we'll do it this time". Apparently, because of some intricate wood detail, it required much hand sanding (but this was not communicated until the furniture was completed and delivered). I understand and would have paid a bit more $$ to have the job done correctly...but instead, they stuck to the original quote and did an average quality job.

Matt had not done highlighting before so he consulted a faux finisher for guidance. The results were better than we had expected and were well worth the expense of re-doing the cabinets even though there was an increase in price due to the added labor of the highlighting.

Matt did a fantastic job restoring our furniture. The job was performed quickly and beautifully. Matt delivered the furniture on a Saturday morning. He showed up on time or even a little early. He also was able to tell us some additional information about some of the pieces.
