JC Maid's work was excellent. Anyone who has lived in base housing knows that the move-out inspection is a royal pain because they check everything - every shelf of every cabinet, every blade of every blind, every wire of every rack, every single nook and cranny. And this move-out inspection was no exception. And JC Maid passed with flying colors. The inspector recorded no deficiencies and had no corrections. The price quoted was more than fair and what was paid even though Viola had to come back and be on standby for the final inspection - no extra charge. Viola was always responsive, including returning my original call immediately, calling to confirm before the appointment, letting me know if she was going to be five minutes late, etc. I would absolutely use them again, no questions asked.

Viola came to my house to give me an estimate before the work was done. She was very nice and accommodating, and thought that it would take her and her crew about 5-7 hours to do the job. She explained that she charged $50 an hour, and would expect the final bill to be $370. I thought that was a lot, but she seemed like she would be very thorough and she looked like she really loved her job. This was appealing to me, as we were looking for someone to do regular cleaning of our house after the deep cleaning. She said she would call to let me know if she would be exceeding that estimate on the day of the work, so that I could tell her to stop or agree for her to finish. On the day of the job, they arrived 1/2 hour late. She came with 2 helpers and they were at my house from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Neither my husband nor myself were present when she left. They did a very nice job of cleaning despite the fact that they were working on the one day the whole summer that our air conditioning was out! They cleaned several things that I probably hadn't cleaned in years. However, they did not do mirrors or windows or under the beds or furniture. In addition, they dusted off a bookshelf that my husband requested that they not touch, and cracked some old leather book bindings. Finally, Viola likes to "organize" your things as well, which sounds helpful, but resulted in us having to look around for our things that were previously in a set spot. We had to completely put our bathroom back to the way we keep it (hair spray was with shampoo in the shower, eye glasses were next to TV instead of in bathroom on eyeglass holder, husband's toiletries were over on my sink and vice versa, etc.). It looked orderly and neat when she finished, but not in any order that we were using. Viola returned to my house early the next morning with the bill of $485. Much higher than the estimate but it was for 8 hours of work. Ok, I understood that, but there was extra for supplies. I don't remember her mentioning this at the start and I think it was a little excessive, given that she already went over her estimate by far. I even remember asking if I could provide her with supplies (we have a lot from a previous cleaning person). I think that we covered their supplies for the next several months with our $85 contribution. All in all, they did a good job cleaning and were very nice and courteous but I think we paid too much. I also didn't like having to put my stuff back in its place when she was finished. I'm sure she wouldn't continue to re-organize our stuff if I asked her not to, but I don't see us using her services again.

I was moving out of a rental house( 3 bedroom/2 bath) and found this company on Angie's List. Viola was just wonderful on the phone as well as in person. There were 3 people in total. They were on time and after getting a clear idea of what I wanted done in the house (as it was all empty) they were straight to work. They even cleaned in spaces which I didn't think they would bother cleaning. It was $50 an hour and extra for the supplies they bought. The total project took 3 hours. Excellent Job. Great People.
