The first part of the job was to assess the wood siding and decking to determine whether any boards would need to be replaced or repaired. This was an iterative process in that the painters were caulking the house and were better able to assess certain aspects of the wood siding, especially the portions on the higher levels.
After the repair and caulking was complete, the painters screened-off the windows, doors and shrubs and began the painting process with a spray system (and brushes for areas where there was a risk of "collateral" paint spray.
This process was completed for the first coat and then, they proceeded with the second coat, after adding a mildew resistant liquid to the paint. The painting team were careful to leave us with unpainted exits so we could come and go as we pleased. Further, upon completion of the painting, the crew cleaned all of the xterior windows. This was an extra cost item.
After the second coat was dry, they painters asked us to inspect the work and alert them to any flaws in the painting (there were none).
I found their work to be excellent and very professional.
