 + 0 moreI was looking for someone to build a pergola over a plain concrete patio in our backyard as an anniversary present. I had some idea of what I wanted but wasn't quite sure of the constructability of what I had in mind. I found Benjamin of Homevade Contracting on Angie's List and decided to call. He came out and as we started looking at the space and I told him what I was thinking, he started coming up with ideas and suggestions. My wife had a picture from the internet of a design that she liked. Based on that and our conversation Benjamin designed and built a 12 x 16 structure that fit the space perfectly. He ordered the materials and I paid for it upon delivery. We had some pieces left over after it was complete and Benjamin loaded them on his truck and returned them to the lumber yard. He called afterwards to let me know to expect a credit on my account for the returned material. I am very pleased with the work Benjamin did for me.
