After using Green Carolina to successfully rectify a long standing irrigation problem, (see previous review), I asked for a quote on hardscaping a patio and fire pit off of our pool area. It included outdoor lighting, irrigation changes and landscaping around the area.
Mike and Trent worked with us on a design that gave us adequate room, a nice view of the marsh and a price that we could live with. The price was far below what had been estimated by a previous contractor a year before. To be fair we scaled back some of the features, but Mike work with us on making it all work within an allocated budget. In the end, we felt that we did not give up that much in function.
They met all of their time commitments and even worked extra hard to have the area presentable for a party that we had had scheduled before the project was started..
The management takes great pride in their work and their employees are courteous and hardworking (it was unusually hot). We had no concerns about having them on the property while we left for a few days.
I would highly recommend Green Carolina for any landscaping or hardscaping assignment.

I had already paid another landscaper (Other side of The River) almost as much for work that only caused more problems with no water relief. Several others that I contacted either wouldn't touch the job or suggested things that I did not want to do.
Green Carolina quoted a two stage solution saying that the first stage may be all that was needed. Thus far the first stage has resolved the water standing problems and I think we are done.
Mike Fairbom was very helpful, easy to work with,and did what he said he would do on schedule...His people were courteous and did a lot of work with minimal disruption to the rest of my landscaping.
In other words, they did what I expected, when I expected it at a price that was lower than I expected. I would certainly recommend them.

This review is more than a year out but all the better because I can speak to the success of plantings, etc. The work was done professionally and except for some minor delays (usually weather) on time. The pavers are great and drain well. The plantings with some exceptions have done well. Trent made a good suggestion of making part of the courtyard at a higher level. The lighting system is very good although some of the plantings are so exuberant they block some of the light. The irrigation system is working well. My only quibble was not being listened to about the placement of some fatsia which suffered in a too sunny location, which I knew wouldn't work. I moved them myself the next year.

Used Green Carolina to redo my landscaping. They totally redesigned my landscaping plan, and did an amazing job. This job included both the plants,shrubs and trees as well as a new flagstone patio and firepit area. Trent, Mike and their crews were wonderful. They were extremely professional, and completed the work on-time and on-budget. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future.

This has been a great experience. We received a quote immediately after talking with the owner as to what he would suggest. The quote was reasonable and we signed and returned it immediately. The work began soon afterward and was completed within two weeks. It took a while to get the plants that we would need. We are very, very pleased with the work done by Green Carolina and look forward to their continuing service.

They're here when they say they're going to be here and they get it done promptly. I don't know what a fair price is but we've been happy. They did a whole lot in two days.

My husband called in landscape companies and met with them. We had them show samples of their work. Then got estimates from each. We chose the one we thought was most professional and would do the best job, as well as someone we would like to work with. Green Carolina.
We went over the design and the planting ideas.
The work was done as scheduled and the yard was cleaned up each day when they finished.
The workers were professional and courteous.
The owner of the company checked on every aspect of the job.
