I would not use them again in the future. They were okay, but nothing fantastic about them stood out. They were very slow with responding to me as well.

We looked at several other people and their price was in the middle. They were very professional so we went with them. I would use them again and they are easy to work with. Felt comfortable with in my home and they cleaned up after themselves, too.

Came home to no one on site and a broken window pane. Called and was told it would be 2 weeks for a replacement, ok, I'll wait. Few days later prod mgr came by to hand me an invoice. Feeling it wouldn't be prudent to pay any more monies until window was fixed, I took some pics to remind them as to why I felt this way. That's when I noticed 3 windows with broken frames, so now 4 out of 6 windows are broken in some manner. This caused me to look much more closely at the rest of the job. This is when I noticed that the installer did not measure properly a track one wall fits in, causing it to ripple and no amount of caulk could hide this fact, though he did try, to no avail. He again did not "measure twice, cut once" another area on the outside. Caulk again could not hide the blatant imperfections. So he bent the bird's nest to try to hide the shoddy work. This area is sooo wrong as he took the fine work of my siders and ruined it. This area just happens to be easily viewed from the kitchen sink. Then there is the fact that I asked to speak to the electrician before any walls went up to discuss what to do about some wiring. Met him for the first time after walls went up and wiring in question was fitted through a hole drilled through the wall. So now if I move the wiring, I have a hole in the wall, that they are sure to fill with... you guessed it... caulk! I called on Mon June 22nd expressed my dissatisfaction with the quality of product and workmanship and having lost all confidence in the mfg as well as the contractor. I, however, gave them the opportunity to resolve these issues. I was told they'd get back to me on Tues June 23rd.They also made a point to tell me how long they've been in business in this area and how oper mgr didn't think he had misrepresented the product. I don't recall signing off on the clause that stated I was buying a product so inferior, I shouldn't expect it to withstand installation. However, after waiting now an entire week without a call on my home or cell phones, an e-mail nor as much as a smoke signal, I can only surmise that there is a lot of shoddy work in this area, constructed of a product one shouldn't expect to withstand installation. As this is now my nightmare! All for a room that was intended to be my meditation room. Not likely to infuse the calm into anyone's psyche now. Ahhh, but Karma will get him in the end! Without ever having consulted me, this company decided how to resolve this situation. They are installing the same shoddy product in the same manner. This company did not meet my standards of workmanship the first time and they expect me to agree to their coming back to replace the panels.
How did it go?? G&S sued me for not giving them the remainder of $2800.00. I have yet to have a final inspection from them or the county. As it stands, the breakage has continued, 2 window frames are cracked , again. The concrete cracks are widening and settling and new perpendicular cracks have formed. The corner is still 3/4 " out of plumb, and I know this because the head inspector for Dorchester county told me so after measuring it with a little device. But, funny, there is no final report on file with the county. Do business with with these hacks at your own risk.....and the risk is substantial.
