We had a number of Fence Companies submit estimates. Frontline was about in the middle and we decided to use them due to reviews. Scheduling was difficult due to recent rain events and I had to insist they wait until the ground wasn't overly saturated in order to not damage the yard. It took 24 days to complete the fence from the day construction began. This was due to having them come back out twice to adjust gates and replace slats on one side of the house where they had left a 6-8 inch gap from the ground to the bottom of the fence.
The workers hit our water line when setting posts although I don't fault them for this as the line was not mark by the utility company correctly. However, one of the workers attempted to fix the break (incorrectly) and after three hours I had to call in a plumber.
The workers left the house without having us look at the fence to ensure it was to our satisfaction. At this point the gates were hard to open/close, and the above mentioned gap was left on one side which would have let our dogs get out easily. They also tracked mud and clay onto our patio and screen porch and did not leave it clean as they had found it. We also noticed they had damaged the concrete on the screen porch where their air compressor had been plugged in. They left 3 large gouges in our newly stained and sealed patio directly in front of the sliding glass door.
I called Jake and he agreed to meet me to look over the items I wanted to discuss. When he arrived I showed him the gaps and he agreed to fix. I also asked him to have the large piles of dirt and clay left from the post holes removed that were left behind in the yard. He said he would speak with his crew about the concrete damage.
Bottom line the gates and gaps were repaired to our satisfaction. He told me his crew denied damaging the concrete and offered no solution. His comment via email was " not really much I can do for any patio damage as these thing's happen during construction".
My review would be: The fence is of good quality. It took what I consider a very long time from start to finish . I was unhappy with the customer service regarding clean up (still dirt and clay in my yard), and the damage done by the crew. I would not recommend them or use them again. There are too many options to get this type of service.
