The above 3 projects took place on 3 separate dates in November 2015. Crawlspace Work: 11/05/2015. The crawlspace work required running new wiring for a dedicated 20 amp circuit from the panel box to a centrally located area under the house (crawlspace). Also, installed another outlet in an isolated part of the crawlspace In order to operate a circulating fan. In addition, installed a light fixture to illuminate most of the crawlspace, with an on/off switch conveniently located just inside the crawlspace access door. The electrician, Jay Piner, and his coworker Scott did an outstanding job. They showed up for work precisely at 8:00 AM, for an 8:00 AM appointment! They were both very professional and proficient in their respective jobs. For the amount of work that was done and the time it took to do it, I thought the cost of $571 was very reasonable. They cleaned up everything before leaving. Panel Box: 11/12/2015. While doing the crawlspace job, Jay pointed out that various breakers in my old panel box (circa 1974) showed signs of previous arcing or burning in several areas. Other electricians over the past few years have also recommended replacing the entire panel. Based on their excellent work in my crawlspace, my wife and I decided it was time to replace the old panel box. Jay estimated about $2100 to replace all breakers, panel box, cabinet, etc. This seemed fair as others had estimated hundreds more than that. We scheduled the work for a week later. Again, Jay and Scott showed precisely at 8:00 AM, for an 8:00 AM appointment! It was an all day job til approx 3:00 PM. Again, everything went smoothly and breakers were labeled in the new box. Jay gave me a military/veterans discount of 5%, and the final cost for this project was $1999. Throughout the entire job, Jay and Scott maintained a professional demeanor and were courteous at all times. Under Cabinet (UC) LED Lighting: 11/17/2015. Because of the extremely satisfying experience we had had with DB Electrical Services for the 2 aforementioned jobs, I asked Jay to give me an estimate for installing LED lighting under each of our kitchen wall cabinets. We had a list of supplies needed for the job that we had gotten earlier from Rick's Lighting. BTW, DB Electrical was one of several contractors recommended by Rick's Lighting to do UC lighting. Jay looked at our kitchen cabinets and recommended that we use two 12" light strips instead of one for each cabinet. We are so glad we made his suggested changes. The final configuration resulted in continuous lighting with no shadows anywhere along the countertops. Total cost was $1621, and well worth it! Very satisfied with everything Jay an Scott did. Will call them for any electrical service needed in the future. They have proven themselves time and time again.

The reason I contacted DB Elec Svcs was due to an ad in our local newspaper which was actually a "Thanksgiving Card" to all their previous customers. I thought that was very nice so I went here on Angies List to check them out. All the reviews were great and so is this one. The installation appointment was made. Jay called to let me know he was on his way and unless traffic was an issue he would be on time.....and he was on time. He was very professional, polite, knowledgeable. He kept the area clean and even put the items back in my cabinet! The cost was reasonable, and even applied a first time buyer discount. I have other electrical work that I want done and I will be contacting them again. They are in my favorites list. Being a widow and home owner I want to keep up my property without any surprises when I have to relocate to "Shady Pines" and I feel they will be helpful to me by making sure the elec. issues are up to date and in good working order.

Here's the best part: I had had a brand new electrical service panel put in the year before by another company ($3200). Yesterday I had a simple question about the panel, called the original installer, who said that they would need to make a paid service call and that I could not speak over the phone to a technician. They would not answer my question (which was this: after switching the main breaker off, I could not get it to go back into the on position).

So I called DB Electrical Services and spoke to Jay, who had done the garage work. Jay had given me his cell phone number and said to call if we ever needed anything. I did, and he was extremely helpful - he asked what company made the panel (Square D), and then he simply told me over the phone how to reset the main breaker. No visit needed (which I had assumed); he gave me a simple description of how to do something. He was very helpful and gracious, whereas Mister Sparky refused to even allow me to speak with anyone.

So, DB Electrical won my business with good electrical work and equally important, the willingness to be helpful in a follow-up phone call.

This company is by far the most honest friendly company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I had an issue with a kitchen light that had been going on for a while. They explained that I needed a new fixture and the best place to purchase the new light. They mentioned that I could pick up a business card for 10 percent discount on installation if purchased from the light store. I mentioned that I had a coupon from the paper for $25 off service. Without hesitation, they told me I was better off using the $25 discount for a better deal. For a small company, I found it very honest of them to give me the bigger discount. The electrician picked up the light for me and was extremely friendly and explained every detail I had been dealing with and how to fix it in the future. I will definitely use this company again.

All work done efficiently and well.

Very professional people, Jay and Mike. Arrived on time, identified themselves. Work done quickly taking care not to disturb anything in the house. Also checked another small item of a loosening light fixture in a cabinet and did not even charge for that.

I have and would again recommend and use this company again.

It went absolutely great. Have used Dan before and have never been disappointed. A good Christian businessman that takes pride in his work and his employees. Jay, the technician, arrived in a timely manner, very clean young man and respectful. Knew his profession. Absolutely a return customer!

The men arrived on time and immediately got to work. They removed the old fan and installed the new one. They answered all of my questions about the use of the new fan. Nice employees and were good about cleaning up. Dan quoted me an estimate and the cost was not any more than he quoted. Very professional and I will definitely use them in the future for any other electrical work.

I needed a 240 volt outlet for a kiln placed in my garage. After some research, I was pretty sure it should cost less than $200. The 1st 2 companies I called wanted to charge $400 to $500!!!
DB Electrical came out - quoted $200 and ended up charging $150 because it took him less time than anticipated. He passed the savings on to me.
Awesome! Friendly! GREAT VALUE!!! HONEST!!!!!!!!!! And the work was done fast. I've used the kiln for some months now and have had NO PROBLEMS with the outlet!!!
