+ -1 moreThe elder Davis was in jail shortly after this occurred. People like Davis are used to jail and sending them there still won't get your money back. Obviously, avoid these thieves, avoid anyone who wants money for materials up front, trust your gut, and use Angie's list before you contract.
Description of Work: Davis and son gave me a quote for doing significant work, requested payment for materials up front, then ran and hid - probably under a rock. The police dug them up for their many nefarious deeds shortly thereafter. I was new to the area with the military and totally clueless. I was practically raised by the Marine Corps and came from an area where people simply don't do this type of thing. Avoid these lying thieves.
