College Hunks Hauling Junks and Moving

I hired Charleston’s College Hunk moving company to move my daughter on 7/30/25. I filed a claim regarding the drywall damage due to them falling backwards on the steps and slamming into the drywall as well as a dresser that they broke. On 8/4/25 they denied my claim saying that there was no negligence and that the stairs were too steep. However, all three movers had been vaping Marijuana on the job which clearly impaired their ability to perform their job well. R&S Movers moved my daughter into the same place one year prior and did not damage the drywall, nor break anything, nor vaped Marijuana on the job. To make matters worse, the Charleston’s College Hunk movers kept the keys to the new place they moved my daughter too that day, rendering her not being able to access her new apartment after they left. As of today, they still have not returned the keys despite numerous calls and texts. At this point we have no choice but to file a police report against the theft of the keys and then take legal action for the damage that they did to the property. I tried to be patient, understanding, and show grace throughout this whole process, thinking that in the end they would do the right thing, but they did not. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I wish I could post pictures here' (I did on yelp). We have been at the apartment today 6 hours getting everything they left!! (Except the hanging clothes! Horrible.

Mark and Sheldon were professional, friendly, hardworking and polite. They called me to let me know another job ran over and the time they would arrive. They did an excellent job and I would definitely hire these two young men again!

Called on a Sunday, had an appointment scheduled for Monday morning. Jake and Will arrived on time, were very professional and friendly. I have used College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving for various jobs and will happily do so in the future ?

They arrived on time to disassemble and cart away a collapsed steel shed. They worked very diligently in the rain and completed the job to my satisfaction. Very polite and considerate folks, and I highly recommend them to anyone.
