They did a really good job. I was very happy. They worked very diligently on the showing listings we had and to show us houses as well as to show our house. It was moved pretty quickly and we sold the house in 2 months. They daily sent us listings for new homes.

I rent a home from Carolina One Property Management and have had nothing but issues the whole time. They are
unresponsive, never answer the phone, rarely return phone calls and take forever to fix problems.
First let me start off by saying I requested if the house I was interested in could push back the lease start date by 15 days. They responded quickly with a no. Therefore, you would think that the house would be move-in ready by the specified lease date. It was not!
Since I was moving from out of state I had a real estate agent I had been working with pick up the property keys for me. The following week, I drove down just to pick them up even though I could not move for another week and a half. When I got inside, the carpet in the dining room was lifted up as if there was some kind of water leak. No one from the company had contacted me about it. What if I was moving in that day! I had to call and email repeatedly for a week before finally receiving a call from their maintenance company asking to schedule a day to fix the carpet. I told them I was still out of the state and they would need to work with the PM Company to get a key and fix the issue prior to me moving as I have a dog and cannot have nails sticking out of the floor! It was fixed a week before I was scheduled to move in.
After moving in, I noticed a note, from whom I'm not sure, on the refrigerator stating that the water dispenser/ice maker is not working and to leave unattached. This was an outrage to me as one of the major reasons I decided to rent this house was for the ice maker! It has now been 3 weeks and I am still fighting with them to fix this. They say it is not part of the fridge and would
have been listed as a separate appliance on the lease!
Not done! Since I moved closer to family, I had them arrive to help me move in. With 4 adults and 1 child, a lot of dishes were used. So when I got to try to use the dishwasher, big surprise! It was not working. I tried several times on different settings and still nothing. My brother-in-law did some investigating and saw that the water was turned off to it, and when he turned it back on,
water went everywhere! (And now we know where the leak came from). Come to find out, the PM Company knew about this issue and never told me. It has now been a month since they have known and no fixed dishwasher as of today.
I was notified yesterday, after several emails and phone calls, through email, with no name/signature, that the property management person in charge of my rental was no longer employed. Today, the Director of the PM group got a
voicemail from me. (And no I did not get his name from anyone from the company, I had to do my own outside research to find it out!). Guess we'll see if he's any better at returning messages.

I haven't used any other agencies other than that so I don't know how to rate them. They are not great but they are not bad.

They are a very good company. Since they are so large, you do get a lot of exposure.
