As of now with the gym finally being completed on October 17th I have been unable to get Glen to settle up with the subcontractors he did not pay. For eight weeks he would not return anyone's calls and failed to meet me three times that he himself scheduled. He claimed he was out of cell phone range and was working a lot of hours. I started receiving letters from vendors who told me that they were never paid and were going to pursue further action. When I finally met with him on the 9th of December he handed me another invoice for the "change of work" that totaled an additional $17000, this included some vendors and subs work I had already paid off since he let go for so long. A one room build out went from $16000 to $32000 and he said he did the work and that was that. When I asked him for itemized receipts he had a manila envelope which he dumped on the table and said he had not had time to go over them. He did not even know that we had given him over $16000 he wasn't sure what we paid him. When I showed him all the cashed checks from the bank he said " oh yeah I was missing that one ". Luckily through the process of the buildout I got know each of the subs personally and they have been working with me to let me get this cleared up. To this day I have no paperwork to support any of this as he has still not produced it. I THINK I have all the owed money paid but cant be certain for sure. Needless to say I will be pursuing legal action.
Description of Work: Glen Bise took on the project of a one room build out for our fitness center. He took a check on July 27th saying that he could have the work done by September 1. He constantly gave me excuses as to why he could not start and it kept getting pushed back and pushed back. He was never at the site, when he said he would do something or be there it was not done or he failed to show. His subcontractors were good and stayed on point but his constant absence maid it all a mess.
