Description of Work: Cameron evaluated the status of a water oak and two live oaks. Two weeks later a team of 3 removed the water oak that was close to our house and under power lines (about $1,600) and pruned the live oaks (about $700)according to the specifications discussed with Cameron and as the job progressed. Another certified arborist was the leader of the team. Clean up was beyond expectations. Several weeks later (reason for the B for punctuality. The Bartlett crew gets an A.)another individual came to grind down the water oak stump and an existing pine stump leaving the mulch in place. (about $100). The costs were approximately the same as two other contractors that we interviewed, but we felt more comfortable with how Cameron described that the job would be completed.

Description of Work: I only wanted an estimant to remove a tree. In exchange i recieved excuses from the beginning as far as service location, showing up late for the estimant and just poor communication. Very overpriced.

+ -1 morecalled for estimates from 3 Angie's List vendors and this one was reasonable and could do the work within our required timeframe. Work and workers were professional. When sidewalk was broken by equipment, Mr. Dunkerly resolved with his insurance and Coastal Scapes (another Angie's List vendor) replaced the cement walk and was very professional and timely as well. Very satisfied.
Description of Work: tree timming for palm fronds and to remove limbs close to house.

+ -1 moreI put in a call for an estimate and received prompt response. The estimate was done within the next few days. I discussed the need for removal of the tree with neighbor and he agreed to it. Representative spoke with neighbor to explain procedure and handled it very professionally. Both my neighbor and I were emailed with dates for the work so we had the option of being at home. The team arrived towards the end of their ETA but I had been informed by the office that the earlier job took longer then expected. The work was done so meticulously, there is no evidence that the tree was ever there. They cut the trunk very close to the ground. They also cleaned the area and left no traces of their work. The workers were very congenial and took care to address and follow up on my concerns since they were not working on my property.The job was done very efficiently.
Description of Work: Cut down 50 ft. pine tree in neighbor's yard which was very close to my house. It's roots were invading my property and lifting up the platform for my heat pump and fence that surrounded it. Remove all refuse.

+ -1 moreMike Dunkerly met me at my house on-time, and he was knowledgeable about the work I was asking about. He didn't try to oversell his services, and I thought the estimate was fair based upon the size and condition of the trees (the older oak has a very large and spread out canopy). Mike was also very helpful in answering questions about the trees - I am very concerned about keeping them healthy, and he was able to answer my questions thoroughly.
Description of Work: I have a 100+ year old oak tree in my yard, along with a younger oak. When I bought my house a couple of years ago, it was obvious that the trees had not been pruned in many years. I called Bartlett to prune both oak trees, and apply a fertilizer to the base of the trees to help keep them both healthy.
