If I could give 0 stars I would. I worked for Brad for 6 years as his right hand man. Long story short, I was injured by Brad on his job and found out he legally isn’t required to have workers compensation insurance being that he has less than 5 employees. Brad built a stage for us to work off of while installing a tongue and groove ceiling. While we were on the stage working my end collapsed. I also found out once I had to get a lawyer that his general liability insurance policy has a stipulation saying any bodily injury is excluded. How is this even legal on the state of South Carolina? Brad initially agreed to pay everything and asked me to run medical care thru my personal health insurance policy. We contacted our insurance company and told them our situation and they said to absolutely file with them as I had no other coverage. After Brad finding out that my injury was more serious than he thought and surgery would be needed to fix the tear on the meniscus of my knee, he quit paying me and also quit responding to texts and emails.
