Very thorough

By far, Aqua Clean Maids is the best housekeeping service we've ever had for our short term rental property. Service is on time, done with excellence with dedicated and caring personnel. Guests are very complementary about how clean the property is when they check in. As owners, we experience the same when we use our property. It's always in excellent, very clean and neat condition when we arrive. We highly recommend this service.

Jovita is fantastic! I called her last minute to do a deep clean, and she was able to come out that afternoon. She arrived on time and did a very thorough job. I highly recommend Jovita for all your cleaning needs!

Jovita was very flexible and open to scheduling at times when I needed her. She also used bona on our wood floors when other services required us to provide that if that's the product we wanted. She came twice and each time cleaned 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a family room, a dining room, and kitchen. For the most recent cleaning, she was here about 90-100 minutes. When we arrived home after the cleaning, the place initially looked and smelled clean. However, I noticed a rim around one of the bathroom sink stoppers and a somewhat cloudy shower door. When I told Jovita, she offered to come back and clean it. I told her she could do it when she returned the next day for the check, but when I got home, it didn't look like anything else had been done. (I later noticed a few other things, which isn't surprising given that it was a single person cleaning 2200 square feet of space.) After being in the house for a while after the most recent cleaning, I experienced a reaction that seemed to be due to the smells from the cleaning. I asked Jovita about the products used, and she responded promptly. I don't blame her for the reaction I had, but I wonder if more rinsing with water would have reduced the effects. When I asked Jovita to come clean again, she told me that I would have to provide bathroom products (because of my skin reaction) and the floor cleaner I prefer (bona), that she had previously provided. I asked if the rate would be discounted, but she said it's a flat rate. I told her I would look for other housecleaners, and she responded with she respected that decision. I'm going to try another service because I paid Jovita the same amount that I paid for 2-3 ladies to clean a 4800 sq ft home in Indiana, and they took 1-2 hours depending on how many were there. Housecleaning prices seem to be considerably higher in the Charleston area, but I still expect the cleaning to be more thorough at the price I paid. I may go back to Jovita if the other service(s) I try end up being the same quality for the same or more money.

I've used Jovita to deep clean the home I just sold and the new home I'm living in now. I've been very happy with her both times and will continue using her. She is very detailed and thorough in her cleaning. I highly recommend her service.

I was looking for ongoing--weekly or biweekly--cleaning service for my home. Jovita responded promptly and set up an initial meeting time. Her estimate based on the size of my home, given over the phone, changed upward once she arrived. Apparently this was because I have a lot of hardwood floors? I still thought it was reasonable given that the house had not been thoroughly "deep-cleaned" for a while. She arrived alone, but said someone would be joining her. The house was clean, but had a very strong chemical-y smell when she finished. She said she would contact me regarding setting up a regular schedule, but I never heard from her again. I think she is more geared towards one-time cleanings than ongoing, perhaps. I did find her very trustworthy, and she did a thorough job with the cleaning, but I found the chemical (bleach?) smell pretty overpowering and it took a day or two to dissipate.

Jovita has cleaned for us a couple times now. She has been great, trustworthy, and thorough. Her services are very reasonably priced for the quality of work she does. I'll be hiring her again soon.

I had to email and call several times before being able to schedule. They were a no show for the scheduled appt. I called and requested a refund which they did send promptly

I had to reschedule for later in the week, and she was able to fit me in within a few days. She arrived 15 minutes before I expected her, and I was out, so she left a business card on my doorstep. When I called her, she said she could be back in an hour. She arrived 15 minutes earlier than I expected again. She asked what types of cleansers I preferred and did a decent job.

She did a good job and worked around the dogs and my husband. I asked her to clean the glass doors to the outside and she did just the inside. Maybe I wasn’t clear. Everything looked good and smelled good. I felt the price was high. But it’s the first time I had anyone clean my house in this area

My son said the maids did a great job - or in his words - "I love them!" They came on short notice and cleaned even more things than he expected, like the ceiling fans and the blinds and even changed the air filter. He said they did a wonderful job and he would definitely use Aqua Clean Maids Service again.

This team is professional, arrived on time (with all their own equipment and tools), worked diligently for 4 solid hours and did an absolutely wonderful job! Tile floors were washed, wood floors were cleaned, rugs were vacuumed (and all that dog hair just disappeared), every single surface was dusted (and I thought I was a decent housekeeper, hah!), and the refrigerator and stove look almost brand new. Our home looks amazing, like it did when it was brand new. I would highly recommend this team!

Wonderfully well. She was fast and thorough. and I worked along with her. I could not be more pleased. I hired her to return monthly, and I will continue to use her services. What a joy to have someone helping me who believes in doing her best!
