Alaglas Pools of Charleston

DAMAGES, POOR COMMUNICATION, NO RESPONSIBILITY TAKEN FOR DAMAGES, NO INTEGRITY! My experience with Alaglas Pools of Charleston has been disheartening. I kept the company info for years wanting to have them install a pool for me at some point. That day came in January 2018 and I would NOT recommend them to anyone NOR WOULD I EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM IN THE FUTURE. The “About US” page on their website talks of “ A commitment to Customer Service and Satisfaction” and “One Point of Contact”. Both are false, and even more they would not take responsibility for the damages they caused at our property. Alaglas of Charleston introduced me to not ONE Point of Contact- but I had to deal with 7 different people. Jason Blume of Alaglas, Robinof Alaglas, Ken Baldwin, Mandi Baldwin, Luis Concrete on Demand, Tyler Skipper from ASP American Swimming Pools, and a couple doing the tile work. LACK OF COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION- Issues! Twice I was asked for the signed Certificate of Completion before the entire job was complete, once by Tyler Skipper on Wednesday, and then by Mandi before the tile was total complete, and before she sent Luis Concrete on Demand back over. We have had issues with the way the concrete turned out and we have experienced issues with our sewer line Alaglas broke. First, they state if they would have seen the damage to the sewer line, they would have addressed it, then they offer a settlement, and then take it back because they wanted us to sign a horrible release agreement. Ongoing now for over 1 month. They clearly have no integrity and do not care about damages they cause. Communication what a joke, and in the form of mostly text messages. I have created a time line and I have attached photos of the damages, the concrete work, the poorly written overpayment refund check they held without cause, and the ridiculous contract they wanted us to sign in order for them to issue us a check to pay for the damages they created. I will be taking them to small claims court and I will make my experience known so that no one else has to deal with the poorly run company. This is why small businesses have insurance! BEWARE of doing business with ALAGLAS POOLS OF CHARLESTON.
