Installed the HVAC unit fine and the AC worked for the summer. But - in the winter my bills were about $100 higher than usual for the entire winter. I thought it was my water heater, but finally I had SCEG come out and look at my HVAC. They said it was hooked up wrong and that my auxiliary heat was running all winter! That is why my bills were so high. I callled and emailed the contractor and he would not get back to me. I didn't trust him either and he had a temper. So I brought in a new guy and sure enough, the HVAC had been hooked up incorrectly. Now the HVAC works as it should and my electricity bill is typical.
This guy also has a habit of randomly showing up at the your house without any prior notification, which is a little annoying.
