Description of Work: I have rental property and have upgraded a couple of units. James the owner of Blue Ridge carpet came out personally and assessed the job.He is most knowledgeable and does first rate work.I have several upgrades coming up and will call on James again.He is my go to guy.

 + -1 moreI just love Amy Fox. She could not have been nicer or more helpful. I have worn hardwood floors in my kitchen that I wanted to cover with something that would 'float' over them and not need to be glued down. As a serious cook, I also wanted something that would be fairly hard-wearing and offer some cushioning under foot. Amy immediately said "Sheet vinyl." I had assumed this would be my best option, but other salesmen had steered me away from it toward more expensive products that were less suited to my needs. Amy also found the manufacturer who could deliver really quickly without a delivery fee and arranged for me to buy an appropriately sized remnant at a significant reduction in cost. All of which saved me a lot of money. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with this company.
Description of Work: Helped me select the flooring that best suited the needs of my kitchen renovation.

 + -1 moreAll was good until problems with our floor popped up several years later, then won't provide any assistance to fix what I feel is manufacturer flaw, as does the contractor on the one time he came to the home.
Description of Work: Removed and installed a new wood floor in our home via an insurance claim.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job in helping me find out what was available to start with and in installing our choice of flooring and countertop.
Description of Work: Blue Ridge Carpet and Floorcovering installed a wonderful floor in our kitchen. They were most helpful and had many samples to choose from as we tried to decide on what to put in our kitchen which has the most foot traffic of any room in our house. When we made our choice they did an expert job of installing our floor. They also put in a countertop that we are very happy with. The floor looks like fine cherry wood but is really an extremely tough vinyl that can take the moisture that is in a kitchen situation. The countertop was finely fitted . I cannot recommend them highly enough.
