Thursday, October 15 was the last day I heard from him. I was expecting the tilers to come and they never did. October 16th nobody showed up or called. October 17th is when Doug said he would call me back later that day, but he never did. I sent emails to find out what was going on. I did not hear from him until approximately the 22nd of October. The status that he left my bathroom is that he left holes in the floor which allowed mice to get through and into my house. He removed a toilet and did not seal up the piping to prevent the odor from coming into the house. I had the odor from the septic system backing up into my house. I had to terminate him due to no contact and no show. I had to hire another contractor to clean up his mess. I have pictures of my bathroom with no vanity and toilet. He didn?t take out the tile. He wrote me a letter saying his grandmother passed away, but that doesn?t explain why he didn?t call or write to tell me what was going on or why his employees didn?t show up for their job.
