ELI THE HANDYMAN SPECIALIST LLC

I need decking for a 15 year old 16x24 foot deck replaced. Upon removal of the rotten decking it was discovered that many of the supports were also rotten, Eli was able to replace or repair all the cross beams and supports. He replaced all the decking and lattice work. The deck is now structurally more sound than before and saved me a lot of money instead of building a whole new deck. I am more than pleased with Eli and his work ethic and attitude. I highly recommend Eli for any and all of your indoor and outdoor projects.

When I decided to replace my front porch deck boards, and handrails with Trex I put the request on Angi. Eli the Handyman specialist was recommended and I had contacted him. He came over. We went over the project. He gave me an estimate. I felt good about him when I first met him so we wrote up a contract and I paid him $2000. The contract was written up for $6000. Eli told me he will start work on August 15 at 10 o clock. He did not show up at 10 o clock. He was very late and as the project progress every day he was never on time and he s the one that sets the time he s gonna be here. There were a couple days that he didn t even show up when he said he was going to be there. He s very unreliable when it comes to being on time. Eli s. helper was carrying 2x4 boards to the right rear porch area. He lost control of the boards and a board smashed in the flashing on my right porch header. The helper also damaged bricks on my front porch steps during the demolition stage of the project. Eli has brought this to my attention. Eli ended up, firing his first helper TiMu. Before this project my house had new siding installed and all exterior wood was flashed so when Eli took on this project he knew he was responsible for any damage his crew did. He knew they had to be careful not to damage the siding and flashing or anything else when working on the project. Today on 9/5 Eli and his helper Dan brought to my attention that the siding on he left front of the porch had been damaged. When I went out to investigate what they were showing me Eli said that wasn t there yesterday. I agreed with him because every day after they leave my wife and I go out and look at their work yesterday we did that and we would ve seen that damn siding, but it wasn t there. That damage had to have happened today. I did notice a bunch of handrails was laid out at the left side end of the porch. They must ve been working at the left side of the porch and that s where the damaged siding was at. I just tried to reason with Eli because he like kept saying there s no way me or my guy did this. I said well it wasn t there yesterday. Today the damage is there. Eli said this was done intentionally. So I said, are you saying that me or my wife did this that s absurd. I said well you have insurance I ll fall claim against it. Well after I said that Eli lost it and started packing up his stuff and started yelling being disrespectful and did not finish the job. I should ve probably fired him a long time ago because his attitude is like he is the only one in the world that can ever do this job better than anybody else. He s arrogant he s rude. He s got the worst customer service I ve ever seen. Eli started this job on August 15 and left the job on September 5 and didn t finish the job and left damage behind my property. I learned a valuable lesson anybody in their right mind would never hire Eli the handyman specialist.

I liked his approach. Had faith he would do a good job.

Eli did quality work at reasonable price installing our new kitchen faucet, new under-sink water filtration unit and new instant hot water system. I would highly recommend checking with Eli for your next project, you won’t be disappointed

Eli did a great job! We had a car ran into a corner of a unit and he repaired it.
