On the day of service, he showed up after 4:30 PM. He trimmed the bushes - well, he hacked them down and left the debris. And he only did 1/2 of the front flower bed. He didn't do the driveway or the outbuilding beds. We had paid him $200 up front because he "needed the cash" (I know, our mistake). He didn't do anything to the house or outbuilding. In the meantime, he calls my husband and tells him that he's completed all the yard work (we didn't know at that point that he didn't show until after 4:30 - our neighbor informed us since we weren't home at the time.). He also told my husband that he had already pressure washed the house and the building. I came home at 6:30 PM and he was long gone. He did not show up to finish the work, and when my husband asked for half of the $200 back, he refused and said we were paying for his time. Of course, this was through a text because he never answered the phone again after the first visit. We saw his business card at a local restaurant and thought it would be nice to help someone starting out, but that backfired.
