These guys come around every year, claiming they are installing sod in a "neighbor's yard" and that they will have some left over and can do some patch work in your yard with the leftover sod and will "only charge labor". This year we finally said yes as we have been too busy to keep up with our yard ourselves this year. After a long day at work, I came home to haphazardly installed sod that was mostly dead!! Haskell still expected to be paid the full price, and assured me it would come alive after a little watering. First--noone in our neighborhood had their yard sodded that day. 2nd, despite watering 3x a day, the sod is completely dead just 1 week later.
