Pavers and Hardscaping Service, Landscaping
We did not see the final complete yard landscaping and irrigation until a couple days before we moved into the house. Our initial reaction was that they had done a terrific job. It exceeded our expectations and was much better than other homes on our street. A number of neighbors mentioned that they were surprised at how many nice shrubs & trees were in the landscape.
Since we were moving from IN, and were not real familiar with local landscaping trees, shrubs, and grass, we relied on President Peter Davis-ASLA landscape archaetect skills. Great job.
The only area that needed to be improved was to extend some of the drip lines on to some of the other shrubs instead of sprinklers. Some, but not all trees/shrubs had drip lines. The lawn service that we later hired brought to my attention that we shouldn't have sprinklers on the low shrubs in hot weather. Burns the leaves. We have been working with our builder Total Design Concepts to get the additional drip lines added.
My comment about price is only in relation to what other homeowners on the street paid for their landscaping on the new construction. Our next door neighbor who spent around the same amount with a different builder & landscaper was very disappointed with her final landscaping, and theirs did not include any drip lines.
Grading on Responsiveness & Functionality relate to getting the drip lines extended. I'm not sure this is a builder issue or landscaper issue
