Ben is very professional. He cleaned two chimneys and left no sign that he was even there. Both were very dirty, and might have caused us some real problems. He also fixed some broken mortar. He charged what he quoted.

My husband and I highly recommend Low Country Chimney Sweeps for any work you may need done with regard to fireplaces and chimneys. We recently moved to HHI and looking up one day discovered our cap chimney was rusted and “holy.” We looked on “Angie’s List” (our go to site for such things) and discovered Low Country Chimney Sweeps. We “messaged” and got a quick reply from Ben the owner of the company. He came out the very next day to replace the cap. When it was found "up on the roof" that we needed an oddball size, he special ordered one for us and followed up with us as soon as it came in which was only a day or two later. We were very happy with the price quoted. Ben was polite, professional and very skilled. Communication was wonderful and he was excellent at showing up at the times he told us he would be there. We have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending Low Country Chimney Sweeps to anyone needing a new chimney cap, cleaning or repair. We would hire them again if we needed additional work in this area.

We called during non-business hours for a routine inspection/chimney cleaning, and Ben returned our call the next business day.  He clearly explained the services and the cost on the phone, and set up an appointment.  He was running just a few minutes late for the appointment and called from the road to let us know when he'd arrive.  He was courteous, did a good job with the inspection and the cleaning, and answered all of our questions fully.  He was very careful not to track anything onto our carpet; he removed his shoes, laid down a tarp on the carpet, and even carried his vacuum cleaner in and out so he didn't get anything dirty.  He did give us the Angie's list discount since we found him on Angie's list.  We would definitely use his services again.

He arrived on time, worked quickly & efficiently, cleaned up everything--very well afterwards.  Gave us some educating on not using paper logs over a year old (they lose their effectiveness), and preferably not at all because they don't have enough 'heat/hotness' in them to warm the flu enough so it draws the smoke up the chimney.
Very pleased with his service.  Definitely would use again.

Responded immediately. I called on Thursday and within an hour my appointment was scheduled for the following day. Arrived on time. Thoroughly inspected my chimney and I found out it had not been used in years. Then he cleaned it out. Made sure everything was covered so no soot or debris would get on my furniture, floor or hearth. Price was outstanding and got a discount for going through Angie's List.  I was very impressed with his professionalism and he answered all my questions. Will definitely use again!

Easy and quickly as they had the equipment.

He showed up on time.  But when he came into my house, he was filthy dirty from head to foot.
He did not put protective "booties" on when he went into my bedroom (with white carpet).
He left about a dozen soot stains on my white carpet.  He tried to clean them up, but it did not work.
I told him I would pay half the bill until I was sure a carpet cleaner could get the stains out.
So far the stains still there.
Was very dissatisfied with his work.  He had an attitude when he left.  I was not pleased at all.

Called ahead to let us know he was running 30 minutes late.
