In addition, they missed a leak in the shower from the slab-stone wall as well as poorly installed sliding glass doors. These doors are lopsided and have allowed pests to enter. When I had an installer come out to check them, without any guidance from me, he walked straight to the opening that should have been obvious to any professional inspecting the premises.
I received an estimate of $3220 to replace the patio doors because they cannot be repaired. I also received an estimate of $2000 to repair the leaking shower because the slabs are 1/2 in thick and 18 x 18 slabs.
They also employ a full time office person, who takes all phone calls and coordinates a home inspection with all persons involved. So every time you call, someone will answer, no voice mail then waiting for someone to get back with you, which is great. I was also able to access and download my completed Home Inspection the following day.
