Estimates are given in a timely manner.  Once the work is approved Southern Tree schedules the work and the work is done on time.  I have used Southern Tree for more than 10 years for my property management business.

Their crew showed up on the day promised and even earlier than expected. When they left, the offending limbs were gone, and I could not find so much as a hand full of sawdust left behind. Punctual, professional service at a very reasonable price is as much as anyone can hope for.

Tree unexpectly fell - a large oak tree. Damaged only a small section of fence. We called another service recomended by our contractor, and he poorly responded.We looked on Angies, called Southern, and they couldn't have been any friendlier, prompter, or more professional.I gave them a fair on price, as I have used only one other tree service, but in our winter home, and the price seems comperable, but never as little as I hope for - but as the saying goes - price - quality - service ---- but two go together and never all three.

The owner quoted me a price to prune my Palm Tree and to prune my Oak Tree. They did not do either one that we talked about. They just did a quick job and my Palm Tree is really high and I had to call the owner back and he was really nasty to me. It took talking to his wife to get them to come back out and do the job that I actually paid for.

"We aim to please and the wife was General Manager in office at the time and was simply a mechanical delay and back up in our schedule. We did return and finish the job as we have been doing in the Bft County area for 25 years. I certainly hope Mrs Caladra will consider hiring us again."

The prices range with the tree size. You could have a tree removed for $300 or it could be $3000. I've never gotten a $3000 quote but I have had one for $1500. I live in a dense forest and it's difficult to get machinery in there. That's what makes it somewhat expensive for us. They are incredibly prompt and incredibly knowledgeable. They could come out and plant something for you too. The people are polite and nice and I've never found them to be unfairly priced. It's a good company and I like them. If someone has a serious tree problem, I would totally recommend them. I would give them a B in price but I have nothing to compare them to. I will use them again.

The experience was very smooth. The owner of the company arrived on time to give estimate. Two different crews then performed the work. The first removed some dead trees and mulched the debris. The second crew came out to grind the stumps. Unfortunately, they did forget to grind one stump, but it wasn't a big deal and I'm sure they would have returned had I pushed the issue.
