I have a home warranty. When I had no heat in February, they referred me to Pure Aire. After 6 cold days they came and told me I needed a new air handler. Over the next week, they installed the new air handler and were to reconfigure the duct work to fit the new air handler. This is what my $400 was to pay for since it wasn't covered by the home warranty. They completed the job and left. In May I had not A/C so again I placed a claim with the home warranty. And again in July I had A/C problems and again I placed another claim with the home warranty. Finally in August the A/C died again. The 4th contractor that was sent out discovered that Pure Aire had not done the duct work modification and my system had been air conditioning the attic since March! He also left he old air handler housing in the attic as "space debris"after removing all the usable parts. To make matters worse, the 2nd contractor showed me where Pure Aire had "stepped" through my ceiling sheet rock and left a big crack in my entry way ceiling. When I attempted to call him to ask that he repair the damage, he never returned my phone call.
