I used Pristine Renovations LLC to perform a renovation job on the family homestead on St Helena Island. It was a delight working with them. They were professional, supportive and friendly. The showed up with ideas on how we could make the project better and stay within our budget. They met their deadlines and commitments. I could make definitive plans on dates that they gave me. Pristine Renovations were helpful and accommodating with even the work that we performed ourselves. If I was going to build another house in the area, they would definitely be my builder.

We have lived through having a home built from scratch (and living in it when partially completed), plus 3 other whole house renovations which we also 'lived" through. The planning, preparation and actual work done to completion by Pristine Renovations was superior to all. We have nothing but good things to say about Hal Richardson and the crew. They were punctual, did superior work, and were so pleasant. We actually miss them a lot. Even our little dog grieved when they finished the project. In fact we are looking around the house for additional projects so we can call them back. The pricing was just what we expected with no hidden "surprises". We were informed of all every step of the way.

After accepting Pristine’s bid it might take a while to get your project complete because they are so busy. Patience! I was out of town during most of the repairs and the communication was good. All the employees seemed professional, trustworthy, and and wanted to do quality work. If issues came up during the job, then Hal would make it right without any hesitation. I would not hesitate getting another quote from Hal on my next project.

A few challenges and delays along the way. Would have appreciated more of a full time Forman on hand day to day.

Everything went well. Professional and qualified sub contractors. Very professional and nice to work with. Looking early on the new year for another project. Helpful dealing with the insurance company with the storm damage.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB ON ALL WORK! THEY RESPONDED TO US PROMPTLY. THE WORK WAS PERFORMED PROFESSIONALLY. ALL OF THEIR SPECIALISTS ARRIVED ON TIME...WE WERE NEVER LEFT WITH WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND NO ONE TO DO IT. THEIR WORK WAS FIRST RATE QUALITY AND AL WAS HERE OFTEN TO CHECK THAT IT WAS GOING AS PLANNED.

Very happy with the outcome...just how I had it in my head. Good communication and great detail in the finished product. This is our second project and would recommend Pristine Renovations for great results.

We didn’t hire them because they were not Customer Service friendly. We tried numerous times to set up a meeting with my husband and they wouldn’t work around his schedule. We scheduled a meeting, (my husband had to put in a request at work). We drove to Beaufort to meet with them and were told we had the wrong day. We were told one of the partners was home working out & the other partner had left for the day. This was at 5 pm as agreed. We asked to meet them in the morning & were told that wasn’t convenient to them. We finally agreed that if they couldn’t make time to meet with us regarding their initial proposal- they most likely wouldn’t be good to work with.

The project is going very well. We consider Pristine Renovations LLC a first class team to work with us on future additional upgrade projects.

Overzealous pressure washing damaged one screen, and some of the paint on porch furniture, but they were better than others we have had!

The clean up each day was great; the final product is great; very professional service and the employees were skilled in the area of work. They arrived each day on time and completed everything requested. The company is very easy to work with.

They said they sent the estimate twice that it went to spam. Funny I got it today, 12 days later than date I was to get estimate. And it didn't go into spam.

Great! You may have to wait a bit because they are in demand, but it's worth the short wait.

This project went extremely well with all services promised furnished on time and within estimated costs. We found Hal Richardson, owner, to be very responsive in terms of customer satisfaction, recommendations and follow up to any questions we had. His foreman, Andy was also a delight to work with. All craftsmen supplied by Pristine were professional, competent and cleaned up after themselves. We did not feel we "lived mess for three weeks". We love the renovations made which gave us an entirely new and updated look to our 19 year old kitchen. Their advice was timely and we would use them again for any project around the house. We definitely felt like we got what we paid for. They are not cheap, but they definitely do QUALITY work. If you want a job done well and to complete satisfaction, we would recommend Hal Richardson, Andy, and Pristine Renovations.

I contracted with Pristine Renovations to renovate my kitchen based on Angie's List and the local cabinet company who had Pristine on their list of approved contractors. My experience with Pristine Renovations was exceptionally good. Pristine did the entire renovation of my kitchen and I am very pleased with the outcome. The men who worked for Pristine were very professional and when they left each day, they cleaned up any mess they had made. The entire renovation went off without any major hitch, which I felt was due to good communication between the builder, his subcontractors, and the homeowner. I was always kept in the "loop" about what was to happen next. I knew when and who would be coming to my home for the next phase of work. Did I pay a little extra for all this work. Maybe, but if I did, it was worth it. There is an old saying, "you get what you pay for". Well, I got a wonderful new kitchen and still have my sanity from the experience!

Hal and Andy were exemplary in all respects: what everyone hopes for but seldom gets: intelligent, competent, professional, responsive, neat work at a much-lower-than-expected price. You'd better believe that the next time I need work done they'll get the call regardless of the price.

Pristine Renovations had done a fair job last year staining my home and garage. The estimate for the simple roof shed and replacement of a 6 x6 mailbox post was outrageous! The estimate for the jobs was $19,709.00 for the shed roof and 380.00 for the mail box post, I was providing the mailbox, and they stated on estimate they would cut off old post and relocate the post instead of removing it (a little digging perhaps), therefore a 6 x 6 post and bag of concrete was 380.00.plus labor of course. Their estimate for shed roof ...?!?!?!. Would recommend getting another estimate before hiring Pristine Renovations.

Without a hitch. Excellent communication. Quality craftmanship. ON time daily. Cleaned up any and all messes they created while doing repairs.

They were very professional and did an excellent job. They worked around our schedule to accommodate the needs of a school routine.

I have worked with Hal Richardson, the owner, before. As always, he was incredibly responsive. He came over to look at the closet and within 2-3 days had emailed me a quote. I asked him to start as soon as possible, and he was able to begin work within a week. My wife works out of our house, and his guys were extremely good about making sure that they came on days that worked best with her schedule, and were always good about letting her know if they wouldn't be by. From start to finish it took about two weeks to complete. They didn't work on it every day, and since it was for a guest room that we weren't using, it wasn't a huge rush. The completed project was on budget and looked amazing. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the craftsmanship. I'd recommend Pristine Renovations to anyone in the Beaufort area.

Mr. Richardson came to look at the tub the same day he was contacted. He explained the process for repairing the damage and gave us a price quote. Unfortunately the painter did not have any insurance (expensive lesson for us to learn) so we had to pay for the repair ourselves. Mr. Richardson was kind enough to offer us the opportunity to lower the cost by doing some of the prep work, I.e. remove shower doors. The young man that did the work (about 10 hours) was punctual, professional and polite. He went to great links to seal off work area so there would be no damage from overspray. The material used required he wear hazard gear including clothing and mask. A fan had to be used to vent the fumes to the outside. He was very knowledgable about required safety precautions that needed to be taken. It was obvious he was well trained and we were impressed with him and the good job he did. We would recommend Mr. Richardson's company for this type work and would not hesitate to contact him for any of the other services offered.
