They installed our furnace and air conditioner about 15 years ago. They come prior to the heating and cooling seasons every year.

I asked friends and family for referrals for HVAC work as we were looking to replace our system. Palmer-Dickerson came very highly recommended from a family member familiar with other local contractors. I called for an estimate, and was able to schedule a time for the estimate (within 1 day) and received the estimate very promptly (within 1 day of the estimate appointment). He was very professional and personable, offering advice on weatherizing the house that would help reduce electricity expenses. I was able to find a cheaper contractor that also came w/references significantly cheaper, but would have used Palmer-Dickerson if I had not found this low estimate w/good references. Palmer-Dickerson has a very good reputation, and that my family members have used them for several years were definite reasons I seriously considered Palmer-Dickerson. I found some of the other contractors I spoke with to be not be very professional and their prices were very close or higher than Palmer-Dickerson without the referrals.

We were given a free written estimate. Removal of old units and installation of new units went smoothly and just as we were told. Price was lower than another estimate we received from another company. After installation, we were mailed all the warranty paperwork just as told. The new heat pumps are working beautifully, and are very quiet. Prior to having these units replaced, we used Palmer-Dickerson to service our York heat pump units for approximately 18 years, as well as a couple of other companies, and compared to the other companies, we always felt like Palmer-Dickerson employees were honest and only advised us of repairs and maintenance that really needed to be done to the units.
