Very pleased with the work. Quick response and well done

I contacted Keith's Plumbing in the morning and told them I had a leak, however it was just a drip and not an emergency.  They had someone knocking at my door within 90 minutes.  He did not have the right size fitting with him, but had some one drop it off in 20 minutes while he prepped.  I appreciated the prompt response and will definitely consider using them again.

It took several service calls to install the parts and heater. Parts had to be found for the kitchen faucet. The call to Keith's turned out to be more work and higher cost than I had anticipated. I was very pleased with Chris' work and explanations to help me make sense of what had gone wrong and what was needed. The office staff was responsive and helpful. I will call Keith's again but I hope it will not be soon!

Super! I called in the morning and the very courteous phone gal said they were quite busy, would the next day be ok. I said gee, I really was hoping for today, but I understand. And she said, well, we have a serviceman who lives in your area, maybe he could stop on his way home. And that was arranged, he showed up as promised, was polite, professional and on his way in about a half hour. I got the checkbook out and he said, that's ok, we'll send you a bill. Wow!

The repairman came, diagnosed the problem and made the corrections. He also checked the second bathroom, that had been repaired several months earlier to make sure it was functioning right. No charge and I am so pleased with Keith's service. Would definitely recommend them.

After waiting over 2 months for several other plumbing companies to simply return my call, I contacted Keith's Plumbing on a Friday evening and the next business day which was on Monday morning they arrived at my home, looked at what needed to be done, gave me an estimate AND completed all of the repairs on the spot. They even called afterwards to make sure I was satisfied with the service. A great company I would highly recommend!

The plumbers arrived during the specified window of time, and they were professional and courteous. I called ahead of time and asked how much they charge to install a dishwasher, and I was told $82.00 an hour. Nothing was said about travel time. They were here from 3:00 pm to 4:50 pm, but charged me from 2:30 pm to 5:15 pm., about an hour more than the time they were here. When I questioned the plumber, I was told that I have to pay travel time, both before and after the appointment. I have to assume that the prior client paid for travel time after his appointment and then I paid for travel time before my appointment, essentially paying twice for the same time period. Also, I am unable to control where their appointments are located. If they do a job in Bluffton and then come to my house, am I expected to pay for that travel time as well? I won't use Keith's again.

They said they were familiar with my kitchen faucet model and what needed to be fixed. They said there was a kit to buy in order to stop the leak. I waited a few weeks for the kit and they finally came out and installed it. Only to find after they fixed it, and charged us over $200, they said the kit would only prevent the leak for a few months. Now faucet is now leaking even worse then before. They said it would be more expensire then installing a new faucet, but I wish they would have been upfront about the kit only being a short term fix.

This company was a pleasure to deal with. An actual person answered the phone on a Sunday and then got right back to us and said the plumber would be there within 45 minutes. He was even a bit earlier than that. He did a great job replacing the garbage disposal and doing the other repairs under the sink.

I am totally pleased of everything about them. They've even been to my house on Christmas day. I can say nothing bad about them.

Keith's Plumbing came out to replace my hot water heater. It was a big job but they were very good and I was happy with their work. They did exactly what I wanted, they did it on time and they finished the project under budget of what they quoted me.

When we first bought our house on Fripp our contractor told us good plumbers were hard to come by. When we needed a new sewer line, Keith's plumbing was recommended by two different sources. They caused damage when trenching that they eventually and begrudgingly admitted to. The repairs themselves would not be that difficult or that expensive. The owner had the receptionist tell us he wouldn't make good on it. I asked if she could have him call me himself to discuss and she promised he would. After about a dozen calls he still wouldn't call back. Stay away. Surely there are better outfits that serve Fripp and the Beaufort area.

The plumber came to examine the water heater and determined that the thermostat and heating elements needed to be replaced. Within 48 hours we were not getting hot water. Called Keith's Plumbing and they sent a plumber immediately. The plumber determined that the thermostat installed was defective and drove to the shop to get a new thermostat, returned and replaced it at no charge.

We recently moved into our 23 year old home. We discovered a leak in the ceiling of the lower floor of our two story house on Saturday night, January 19. On Sunday morning, January 20, we found an additional leak in the ceiling of the downstairs hall. We called Keith's House of Plumbing on Sunday morning, January 20. They came out immediately. The likely cause was determined to be caulking that had failed in the shower directly above the leak, but clearly there were other problems. My husband told the plumbers that the new toilet that someone else had installed in the upstairs guest room was not operating properly. He and one of the plumbers went upstairs and began flushing the toilet and using a plumber's friend. Water then began pouring out of the archway over the downstairs hall and ran all over the hardwood floors. Keith's removed the upstairs toilets and examined the connections and the shower drains. They also used several pieces of high tech equipment to find the exact locations of the piping and to find the blockages and the leaks. They found that the pipes were ductile iron that must have somehow failed. We immediately decided to ask Keith's to replace all the iron outflow lines with PVC. Keith's therefore asked that our contractor cut out the sheet rock in the places indicated so that they could get to the pipes. After this was done, Keith's immediately returned and found six lengths of cracked and corroded cast iron pipes. They replaced all the iron outflow pipes with PVC in only one day and a half. I must emphasize that the decision to replumb all the outflow lines was ours, based on the initial findings and before the sheet rock was exposed. All our neighbors and our contractor thought we were crazy. When we saw those cracked pipes, we were so glad that we had made the right decision; no one, including Keith's, had ever seen anything like this. To let this go any longer would truly have been a disaster. Throughout our experience with Keith's, we found them to be extremely punctual, professional, courteous, thorough, and very careful to protect our home during this messy process. They went to great lengths to avoid harming any adjacent trim or sheet rock unless it was absolutely necessary to do so in order to get at the pipes. At the end of the day, they took such pains to clean up after themselves that except for the new pipes in the walls, it was difficult to tell that they had even been there. They were in our home on a Sunday and a Federal holiday in addition to the other days that they worked, and considering the quality and the efficiency of their work, we felt that $3,000 was a very small price to pay. We have told this story to several friends and neighbors, and every time we tell them that Keith's did the job, they nod their heads as if to say that based on Keith's reputation, they are not surprised. We want to give special kudos to Darrel and Caleb, who did most of the work, and who were such a pleasure to have working in our home. Caleb not only took great pains to clean up after the work that he did, he also took the time to mask off the areas where the sheet rockers would be working in the kitchen ceiling so that our kitchen would be protected during the next phase. All told, a job very well done.

We were notified by BJWSA that there was a leak in the water pipes between their meter and our home. BJWSA had their technician turn the water off but said it was up to us to have the leak repaired. Since we were out of state at the time, we were really worried about how to handle this. We read reviews here on Angie's and did some other research and then contacted Keith's Plumbing.
The woman on the phone was excellent, very professional! She helped us walk through next steps. We were picturing the whole yard being dug up and lots of expense in new pipes. She encouraged us to just let one of their technicians have a look. This was mid to late afternoon.
By 8:30am the next morning, she called us back and said the leak was minimal, the technician had already made the repair and I could just pay by credit card. Wow!! what a huge relief.
The house is under contract for sale so we asked some neighbors to go check if the yard was dug up and did we need to worry about replacing landscaping or grass. The neighbors were so impressed at how Keith's Plumbing had replaced the grass/ground cover etc so that you couldn't even tell they had been there.

He was wonderful. He didn't actually do anything but he was very helpful and told me what to do and I was able to do it myself. He was great at not telling me they had to do the work or try to ripe me off. He was very responsive, very fair and did not charge me for the initial call. They provided me with excellent service.
